How many of you hear something like this at your job:
(I drive a school bus)

Me: Hey guys, you might have a new driver by the end of the week

/grumbles heard from the back

Female Student: You can't leave, you're cool as hell and my favorite bus driver ever.

Me:  :(

These kids are all 16-17yrs old, and I drive them to a school for "bad" kids.

This job doesn't pay for shit, but it's days like this that I wouldn't trade it for any other.

I tell my kids that every day I bring them to school in the Caravan.

They reply: Cool!!

Is that the same thing?

Hee. Nice story. I remember reading an interview with John Malkovich where he related his experiences as a bus driver in a wealthy Chicago suburb. From what I remember, it was mostly rich, little kids boarding his bus and screaming "Freak!" at him. I think I'd rather drive your bus.

And a week later, on the bus formerly driven by Zekester, the sex in the back seat of the bus on the ride to school comes to an abrupt halt.

What's this, Zeke?!?

You're leaving our sacred and esteemed profession?!?

I feel...abandoned. Tomorrow, driving my bus I will feel so alone. :(
