I love my brother Ralph and all, BUT: I was up 3 on him going into this week, and your last update before the Sunday night game had us both at 29 points. I got my Sunday night pick right, so how did he close the gap to 1? I am but a simple Caveman. I am confused!

Edit: ah, I see. I was only up 1 on him going into this week. I didn't see the later correction.

Any chance we can get a "Late Season Surge" standings?

I agree with this sentiment, simply because I wanted the points!

Another terrible evening set of games (1-3), after a very solid afternoon group (8-2, counting Thursday). BAH.

Hardest. Week. Ever.

Seriously, there is no game I feel super comfortable locking and every game could go either way. I think this is the determining week of the season.

Really? You do not feel super comfortable locking the Saints versus the Lions? Wow. Go Loins, you guys are improving.

The way the Saints have played on the road and the way the Lions have actually been competitive? No, I'm not comfortable with locking NO at all.

Wait. The LIONS have been competitive?! Are you watching game film from the 90s instead of this year's games?

You weren't kidding, that was darn hard to choose pretty much every game. Even many of the normal lock-against teams (CIN, CLE, SF, STL, etc) are playing against each other, or playing teams I have little confidence in. Should be interesting to see the results next week of the picks.

I feel safe locking SF against the Rams. St Louis has begun to rival the Lions in finding ways not to win. Like having 18 second 3 play drives in the final 5 minutes of the game (when they could've ran the ball a couple of times to take time off the clock) allowing the opponent the time needed to kick the GW FG.

8-1 this week. San Diego showed up for once and cost me.

With a big thanks to the Rams for folding in the final 5 minutes of a game for the 3rd straight week in a row. But St Louis media says the Rams should keep Haslett

Typical - 8-1 before 4:30 pm... then promptly miss my only 2 late game locks :x

Why are the late game such a pain in the butt to pick? Seems like this happens every week.

If the afternoon games end the way they currently are...I end up with a whopping 0 points in those games, and 10 points for the week so far... :hawk:

Of course, I'm still hoping the Bills can find a way to lose their game. :D

It's amazing how well this week has gone for the Bears. They needed DAL to lose. Check. TB to lose. Check. MIN to lose. Check. PHI to lose. Check. Hopefully MNF treats CHI well and the streak can continue...
