Actually, I'll be posting these later tonight. I'm honing them right now, but the day has been different from what I expected.

I apologize for the delay.

Done. Please read the revised rules carefully. They're posted in the game thread.

Please use this thread, not the game thread, to inform me of any holes you discover. Please post questions and requests for clarification here. Finally, please feel free to join here if you haven't already done so!

We'll allow clarification/modification and sign-ups through Sunday. I'll assign roles Sunday night for a Monday start (real-life days).

Ok, so naturally the Hard Copy is in my hands and the spreadsheets are prepped. (both Player and Role tabs)

But, um... how does one win the game?

One goal: victory through domination (construed in the usual way)
Ah, in *this* thread the above is posted.

So...

Temple wins by Equalling in Number with Great Wall.
Great Wall wins by eliminating all Templar (Templar, Convert, sleepers?)

The usual way. The Great Wall must destroy all members of the Temple. The Temple must reach equilibrium with the Great Wall and (since some agents are sleeper agents) actually dominate them.

?

In counting, Templar, Convert, and Sleepers count as...?

For purposes of calculating victory conditions:
A Templar is a Member of the Temple.
A Converted, Communing Templar is a Member of the Temple.
A Converted, non-Communing Sleeper Agent is a Member of the Temple.

So it's the usual equilibrium condition with one exception: Templars must not get cocky and out themselves if they think their numbers are equal to those of the Great Wall and the calculation includes Sleeper Agents, because Great Wall has a way of reconverting Sleeper Agents that the Temple cannot detect.

I've added clarification under Special Equipment: C-BETR.

Is there a limit to the number of items an agent can use in one "phase" or "Cycle"?

Could one use X at night and Y during the day following?
Could one use X,Y, and Z in the same Day (phase)?

Can those who have X ability use an X item as well?
Can a player with a Y ability use an X item at the same time?

Maybe I've missed something, but I haven't noticed any mechanism within the rules for the Temple to convert Wall agents. Did I miss it somewhere?

edit: ah, found it in THIS thread. Shouldn't ALL the game rules be in the same thread?
re-edit: shoot, now I see it in the other thread. Never mind.

Some items may only be used at night (e.g., the DIT, the MP).
Some items may be used during the day or night, but only for particular purposes (e.g., Black Bag for thieving, protecting, or trailing by night, but only for protecting or trailing by day).
Some items may only be used during the day (e.g, PEKs).

There is no limit to what you may do; if you own it, you may deploy it.

Yes. The Master of Disguise can use a DIT, for example, and the Analyst can use an MP, and the Cryptologists can use PEKs and MITMEs.

What do you mean by "at the same time"? If you mean, for example, that the Cryptologist might use his innate ability to talk to Bubba and a PEK to talk to Sue, then the answer is "Yes". DITs, on the other hand, would have to be executed in series rather than simultaneously just because of the nature of role swapping.
