Buffalo actually plays home games in New York.

I believe Isgrimnur is referencing that the other stated "New York" football teams in fact play in New Jersey.

I was very bullish on the Steelers this season, with my caveats being that they need to stay healthy and Kenny Pickett needed to have made a jump from his rookie year.

Neither happened. The Steelers have some big injuries to deal with. Cam Heyward out multiple weeks and I’m expecting Diontae will be out or hobbled for several weeks as well. And Pickett looked like he regressed. His accuracy was way off yesterday. There were plays available that could have at least helped the game be close, but he was way off.

Not cool bro.

Matt Canada is going to be the death of you. He’s the worst OC in the NFL and has been for years. Not sure what dirt he has on Tomlin to keep his job. Wasting these prime TJ Watt years.

Factually inaccurate as Patricia was an OC last year.

Patricia was the worst everything. If he's held a position, I would say he was the worst at it. He took control of offense and defense and never budged, all while destroying morale day in and day out. I'd say he single handedly destroyed the Lions but that actually started with Bob Quinn who, as part of his destructive process, hired Patricia along with trading good assets for other New England cast offs. The only positive thing I can say, is they allowed me to fully take back my autumn Sundays guilt free for right up until this year. How he found his way back in to New England after trashing this franchise is beyond me. Players seem pretty open about despising him.

It looks like he's likely done for the season. I saw a video where they pointed out his achilles snapping and the coach seemed to confirm it. I feel bad for Jets fans, but not for him. He's a total dick. :P

You would think someone apparently hopped up on shrooms all the time would be...less of a dick. I mean, isn't the whole benefit of psilocybin making you realize your tiny place in the vast universe, harmony, etc? :D

I am curious as to WHY he's constantly being called a dick, though. I've not seen it (but I am not an acolyte). Unless you mean the anti-vaxxer stuff?

It’s just something in the way he talks. I can’t really put my finger on it, but watching him on the Pat McAfee show really changed my opinion of him. And that was before the Covid stuff.

He’s very smug, but also kind of an idiot about non-football related topics.

Also, this could end up hurting the Packers too (bonus!!!)

Friendly reminder...
Packers receive a 2024 1st-round pick from the trade only if Aaron Rodgers plays at least 65% of the Jets snaps in 2023.
If not, the Jets send the Packers a 2024 2nd-round pick.

Personally, it really didn't look that big of a deal last night. Like - he honestly didn't look to be in a lot of pain at all. I have trouble picturing his Achilles tendon popping and him just sitting cross-legged on the back of the golf cart.

That being said - I hope I'm wrong. I hope it's the last time I ever see him play football.

Kobe Bryant popped his and then shot his free throws and walked off the court. He thought someone had kicked him in the calf at first until he couldn't push off with it.

Interesting and point taken. I have always just harbored a great fear of Achilles’ tendons ripping and have also heard it can be quite painful, so I’m educated by this information.

And confirmed to be a full tear. Wonder if he even comes back next year? They really need to stop using turf. This is actually a newer turf as people kept on getting hurt at Metlife. Obviously this still could have happened, but it seems to happen a lot more on turf.

That turf took out the niners a few years back. We had back to back games against Giants and Jets. We lost half our starters (slight exaggeration) but they could never recover after all those injuries.
