Pizza for lunch, waffle fries for dinner. That's going to set back my weigh in for tomorrow. I was already at a three pound week a day early this morning. I'ma blame the time change.

Hah, I was on track to consolidate last week's big loss until I made a real calorie bomb for dinner tonight. Perhaps I'll be able to atone with a long walk in the morning. The upcoming week will be...challenging.

It turns out it's much easier to mindfully eat and mindfully be active when you aren't working 50+ hours a week from a chair and stressed/preoccupied with work when you aren't working. I couldn't do what I'm doing now from the virtual rock pile, and as much as I'm already feeling sooo much better at the activity increase and the loss of that much pressure on my joints and bones, I still couldn't return to work.

Another break-even week which is a little frustrating. Compared to my previous eating habits, I've cut out snacking and fast food. I'm staying under 2000 calories a day. I'm walking at least a mile and a half a day and putting in 20 minute rows multiple times a week. Plus strength training 3x a week. For seemingly no reason. I'm essentially right where I was at the end of January when I was doing none of this stuff.

Perhaps a little discouragement was just what I needed. After the frustration last week I found myself down a half pound this week. More importantly, it was the first week I was under 200 more times on my daily weigh-in than over (5 out of 7 days). I feel like breaking that 200 barrier was a big tipping point. Next stop 195.

Better than expected again. I lived on restaurant food for four days and didn't exercise, so I was afraid that I'd spike a couple of pounds.

My weight has slowly continued to drop this year. A couple of pounds a month, which I like.

I was concerned about my week at WDW and all of the meals/snacks consumed, but I way more than walked it off, dropping 5 lbs the week I was there.

So my new weight loss plan…move to Disney World and eat all the things.

My big test is going to be this weekend as I'm going to Atlantic City with some buddies. I'll be eating out the entire time, and there will be alcohol involved. I'm going to try my best to make as healthy choices as possible and keep my walking up. If I can escape the weekend without gaining more than a pound I'll consider it a major victory.

Had to make myself put back 4 of the 5 $1.99 1.5 quarts of ice cream I pulled off the shelf at Kroger today. Good thing I did. With decreased quantity eating via calorie count come a very slowly emptying freezer. I'da not had enough room for the extra 1.5 gallons of ice cream in my freezer. I barely fit 1.5 quarts and five small Smart Ones and a Kroger Self Rising Pizza and had play Tetris to make that fit. I might get a bowl of ice cream once a month nowadays anyway.

Man I want to sate my sweet tooth this week. Anything sweet in anything I eat just sticks out like flavor gold. Normally, it's the fried foods I crave but this week it's sweet.

So glad I'm calorie counting with food price what they are. $32 of discounted food (about $50+ straight retail) barely got me four plastic bags of groceries and then includes things like a $.99 jar of peanut butter and a $.99 loaf of bread.

Great news - I not only managed to not gain any weight over the Atlantic City weekend, I managed a loss. Part of this is attributable to only eating two meals a day, a bit by accident. Late morning starts would lead to brunches instead of breakfast and lunch, followed by a ton of walking and then dinner. I didn't go out of my way to eat healthy, but I wasn't pigging out either.

Its kind of nuts how quick the weight is dropping after getting over the 200 hump. I'm guessing I'll hit a wall again at 195.

Big birthday (not mine) celebration last night might have been part of it but I've also started to slip a little on afternoon snacks and making my sandwich with two slices of bread at lunch instead of one (same filling either way).

Lost this year: gained 5.1 lbs

I've really fallen off the wagon the last couple months, but I've started walking again. The depression has been worse, so I just put any food I see in my mouth. Still not drinking as much sugar as I used to, though. And only five pounds over what I was at the beginning of the year, so could be worse?

I saw a commercial on late night TV. It said, "Forget everything you know about slipcovers." So I did. And it was a load off my mind. Then the commercial tried to sell me slipcovers, and I didn't know what the hell they were. -- Mitch Hedberg

I can't even bring myself to post my weigh-in this week. I basically torpedoed all my progress with a week of falling off the wagon combined with a giant Easter meal and more sweets than I've had in the past 3 months. Regrouping this week and hopefully I'll have better results next Monday.

Looks like most of us had a bad week. I actually came in below 188 a couple of days ago, so hoping that this sudden spike will be a blip. Having made six calzones on Saturday isn't helping.

Not great but like everyone I guess it was Easter with family. I walked more earlier in the week but I've also been bad with portion sizes recently.

Pain and pain killers do great things for not eating. Not so much for an active lifestyle. No normal details for now but down to 230. Walking dropped from 12 to 15k steps aka 4 to 5 miles down to 2k and literally no other physical activity. :(

Back on track. There is no real walking right now but I also am eating less. Laying in bed not eating, on pain killers while your muscles deteriorate and you body making the effort to express pain and trying to heal really helps you lose weight.
