Is your bookmark still pointing to OO's http address? You get the certificate error if you go to https.

I wonder if this is why the forum hasn’t worked on Tapatalk today?

Happening to me in Firefox as well. But I accepted the risk since I'm the kind of guy who lives on the edge (not!)

Firefox. Anyone else?
The security certificate for OctopusOverlords.com reports that it was valid from 4/9/2020 to 4/10/2022. So, browsing the HTTPS version of the site will throw up a warning about the expired certificate regardless of which browser is used until FishPants works his trouser-fish magic.

Quickly! To the FishPants signal…

Thank goodness... I downloaded a lot of vampire Chewbacca endoscopy porn last night and thought I got a virus.

Generating and installing certificates was a PITA when I had to do it for Curio City every year or two. Each of my various webhosts tried to simplify and/or automate the process, yet I always ended up having to contact support. It's probably trivial routine for you IT guys but it was sorcery for this civilian.

Ah yes, I forgot that I don't use https because it won't hold my login. Thanks!

I just get a note in my FF URL "the site is not secure". Meh. I don't post anything secretive and my PW was randomly generated.

I also got this error in Vivaldi the same day it was posted here. I just ‘went around’ it assuring the browser it was safe.

I will deal with it tonight, my day job is really getting in the way of my freelance server admining.

Thanks for letting me know, weird that the CA didn't alert me; I'll have to look into that too.

I have a great identity, so people are constantly trying to steal it.

It's true, I keep seeing all these Turkish guys running around claiming to be El Guapo.

Smoove_B is a simple man. He sees an expired security certificate, he doesn't proceed. Probably didn't matter, but what the hell do I know?

Thanks for fixing it!

Ok new certificate is installed, seems to work now on my end. Let me know if problematic.

Kind of figured this was the case. Firefox won't even let you near it unless you go into the advanced properties when the error comes up. Thank you for getting it back up so quickly! I wasn't expecting it for at least another day. To be truthful, it was kind of nice to get a break from it. Makes me appreciate it more :)
