You just stared at the prize, why would you take on that poison?

Reason the radio was talking about. Suddenly, Slay wants out. Why would Slay want out? Hmmm....
Slay doesn't necessarily want out, he wants a new contract since he only has one year left on his. But Philly may not be able to give him one due to all their free agents, so it's more of a plan B.
Slay is likely gone, but that's got everything to do with salary cap management and nothing to do with Patricia, who is not joining the Eagles staff.

I'm ok with Big Play Slay heading somewhere else. He's a solid CB, and he contributed a lot to the Eagles recent success, but he's 32 and is asking for a new contract and more money. Doesn't seem like a good investment to me at this point.

On very first blush. I’m down with that.

If nothing else, Moore will prove whether or not Fields is worth further investment. They went out and got Claypool, who failed to impress. Not all of Fields problems were due to unskilled receivers...he often failed to put the ball where they could make the play.

Also, they will not win as long as he remains the team's leading rusher. I don't think they need better RBs, maybe just better linemen and Fields himself to be less run-happy.

Yeah. Every time he ran I saw it as his possible last professional play. But damn he’s slick.

The old Illinois coach? I was at what would have been his finest moment -- unranked Illinois had held 3rd ranked Michigan to a stalemate on Halloween, 1985. Michigan was driving late when...INTERCEPTION! Illinois could win with a field as time ran out! The kicker was none other than the coach's son, Chris White.

And he hit the cross bar. Game ends in a tie.

At the campus Halloween party, someone went as the "Ghost of Chris White", his costume including a goal post with a paper football taped to the crossbar. White probably would have a chance to at least audition for the NFL until that moment (I remember him being pretty decent).

ESPN
Bills safety Damar Hamlin has been fully cleared to return to playing football, Buffalo general manager Brandon Beane said Tuesday.

Hamlin saw his last specialist Friday and is in attendance and participating at voluntary workouts with the Bills this week.

"He is fully cleared. He's here ... and he's in a great headspace to make his return," Beane said.
