Depends what your perspective is on "better", but if you're like me and think the US needs moar socialism, the left actually has a shot at influencing Biden. It's much easier to fight a liberal than to fight a fascist.

Also, Trump might be the end of the American Empire. Whether that's a good thing or not is also a matter of perspective.
I agree. Just having functional government again and re-engaging with our allies will constitute "getting better." Changing the P in EPA from Pillaging back to Protection. Rejoining the Paris Agreement. Not hearing about new scandals nearly every day. It will be a short-lived respite unless they can fix the Senate, bypass the Electoral College, and rebalance SCOTUS, but at this point I will revel in respite.

Sadly don't be sure. Just because they are the most important issue doesn't mean they are important in the same way you are thinking....

Economy = Trump is driving a successful stock market and making US productivity being paid for by the world. Biden = taxes and cutting US first decision making.
Racial Inequality = end of Affirmative Action and Football players shutting up so we can play foot ball.
Covid = over reach by government and business to close down the economy and make me wear a mask. FREEDOM
Crime and Safety = Blue Lives Matter
Health Care Policy = the ACA and democrats are increasing costs and trying to take my medicare

That's the CNN poll. The Fox polls were like 72% of the electorate is ok with government run healthcare, and 70% think racial issues are a big problem, etc. It was amusing to watch the clip of the Fox News anchors cognitive dissonance kicking in as they read the results.

So Biden is actually up in early counting in... KY? I will be shocked if that holds, but wow! IN early results are strongly trended to drumpf as expected.

Vox: Trump: “We’re watching Pennsylvania.” Philadelphia: Okay, here’s a livestream.
The livestream, run by the Philadelphia City Commissioners, is an almost flamboyant exercise in election transparency. It shows masked and socially distanced workers rapidly sorting and opening envelopes, then feeding them into machines to be counted, all in plain view of the cameras. It feels pointed, because it probably is.
It's almost as if people are the problem.

Trump is not sounding very confident. Sounds like he knows the truth and is trying to put on a good face:

He also just cancelled an election night interview with Mark Levin.

Cartoon Network has Lego Shazam. I'm going back and forth from work to OO to laying down and watching cartoons. I probably should stop the OO (election watching) portion and get more rest.

Washenaw county (traditionally blue) is leaning red in MI. That's not a good sign. Also, James is winning the senate race, generally. This is my fear from local observations being realized.
