looks like they got all 3 colors back in stock, but i think they just made it where you can preorder now, but extended the shipment time. I'm now preordered for 2 of them (one for me, one for the wife) and will be delivered in the first week of December

mine has been put on hold. i opted for the 24 mo 0% financing and for whatever reason even though I was approved, the charge was declined. I can't get into my finance account because they haven't sent me my account info yet. So I get to call tomorrow

Looks like Google tried to charge me twice which put a flag on my account. I'm not supposed to get it until Dec but it sounded like it may have been trying to ship early and now I bet this will cause me to miss that boat

So I usually buy my phones at the carrier. I bought the pros through Google as unlocked. Can I just bring it into xfinity mobile and they just add it to their network?

Is there a cost involved?

Yeah. Does it still get ALL the tmobile bands (at least in the US) listed here? (if ordered from Google)

I'm coming from the Note 9, and I want (need?) xPosed/xPrivacy, plus support for as many of the tmobile bands, esp from Sprint, as I can get.

T-mobile is pretty good at unlocking your phone if you need it unlocked.

T-mobile is pretty good at unlocking your phone if you need it unlocked.

Not the bootloader for root/ROM dev. Just carrier unlocks. (at least for Samsung phones - the US t-Mobile bootloader was NEVER unlockable for my Note 9)

I've only ever needed it unlocked for international travel, and it was never a problem.

I have a "sorta seafoam" on the way, should be here Thursday. I decided to upgrade from a pixel 2 since I am no longer getting updates.
I already got in my caseology case and free pixel buds. My wireless charger is supposed to come in Friday or Saturday.

My 6 just arrived. So far it doesn't seem as big as all the naysayers were nay saying. Still fits in my pocket just fine. I didn't realize to get the buds offer, you had to do it when you're ordering, so I'm waiting on the "hey idiot, you didn't order your buds" e-mail that is supposedly going out to everyone who preordered.

Looks like mine got pushed until Friday. It's only 30 miles away...so close.

I, too, didn't get the Pixel buds ordered. I tried so many times and the one time it went through, I had forgotten. My confirmation email, though, said I'd get another email on 10/28 with a code to redeem for them, so maybe today!

The current FAQ says emails on how to redeem the Pixel Buds offer will be sent by 11/3.

Does the camera bump ever get caught or even a bit sticky pulling it out of your pocket? Thinking Jeans with a bit of a strong denim hem on the lip.

PS assuming 6 means not 6 Pro (a lot of people don't make the distinction apparently).

My wife's came yesterday. She wasn't excited and wanted to wait until tonight to set it up. Also asked if the UI was different because she didn't want to learn a new UI. With any luck she'll hate it and I'll have a new Pixel 6.

I'm in the same boat--I don't recall seeing any option to add the buds to my order through the Google Fi website.

I ordered two Google 6 phones an hour apart (the site kept crashing), with one phone arriving today and one tomorrow. Of course, my wife will want today's phone so I have to wait a little bit longer . . . sigh.

Are ear buds all that great? Seems like one would get lost quite easily. I kind of prefer the bluetooth buds connected by a wire, or at least did when I was going to the gym pre-pandemic.

I have the A-series, and they're good, but not ideal for running. I prefer old school wireless for running and the Pixel Buds for stationary listening.

I just got one of buds and man they sound good. Starting to feel a little discomfort though after about 15 minutes of wearing them. But they sound good.

Google just began emailing promo codes for those of us who didn't know to add the free Pixel Buds to our pre-order. The store is getting hammered. I had 2 promo codes for two phones--the first code went through right away, but the second code took me 15 minutes of refreshing before it went through. At least my wife will have her buds before she goes out of town. I don't mind waiting a couple more weeks for mine.

Keep trying and eventually you'll get through.

I was too busy to swap phones last night, but I did put the Pro in my jeans pocket. I don't wear tight jeans, but the camera bump didn't cause any problems. My current phone is the 2XL and the size difference in my pocket is unnoticeable.

My Pro hasn't arrived yet, but the case has. Surprisingly not as much bigger than my 5 as I expected. Mostly taller, but not really any wider once cases are on.

That code error message happened to me as well yesterday. I kept refreshing, and eventually the code worked. Just keep at it.

Transferring data to my Pixel 6 was super smooth just now, but it's taking a L-O-N-G time to update all my apps.

First impressions are the screen is much nicer than my Pixel 3 (which makes sense). The size isn't too much of an issue, but combined with the additional weight the change is significant. I like to use my phones "naked", and the heft of this new phone is making me reconsider that habit. At least I have the weekend to play around with it and put the phone through its paces. Hopefully by Sunday it's a non-issue, as I hate the added bulk of a case.

well that didn't last long. The left bud stopped working. Tried resetting, cleaned the sensors, turned off in ear sensor, everything is up to date, restarted phone.

Called google, they were happy that I was prepared and tried everything they suggested (helps when you work in IT)

And they are sending me a new pair.

In fact, wore jeans yesterday, and even have a spigen case on the phone, and no, it never got caught. I DO notice that it's larger than my old 4 in jeans, however.
