It seems I was incorrect on the thread merging front. Whoops.
Oh, and my assessment of the back and forth in the taxes thread has stood the test of time, if anyone cares.

Ok, I put this set of links up as the archive. If anyone has any old threads, get them to RunningMn9 or myself and it will get into the archive.
If there are enough old EBG threads, we could add a thread there as well.

too bad nobody took the trouble to save some of the posts here. It sucks when valuable discussions get deleted.

As I explained in the other thread, I split off the discussion from the links post. I later swapped the links post with the second links post, doing the exact same thing (splitting of the rest of the thread from the post).
