I enjoyed the hell out of this on the Xbox360 back in the day. Might be time to revist...
Indeed, it's definitely worth grabbing for any fan of the original movies. Because I dunno if it's canonically considered as 'Ghostbusters 3', but it certainly plays and feels akin to a true sequel to Ghostbusters 2. Which is no surprise, considering the script for the game was penned in part by the films' original writers Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis, and that it features pretty much all of the acting talent from the original movies, too.
I have a nostalgic soft spot for it myself courtesy of fond memories of playing the original 1984 Activision game way back in the day on my Commodore 64. I can still recall how impressed I was as a wee nipper, after seeing and hearing this C=64 Ghostbusters intro playing at a brick & mortar store…

Yes. The Steam plugin tells me historic lowest. And you don’t get much lower than free.
Ever since they got rid of the flash sales the whole thing is rather "meh".

Damn refunds, they ruined Steam!

It isn't what it was then (back then it was an Event, while now it's just a sale), but it's still usually good for a deal or two. And part of the appeal is that it tends to result in multiple Steam competitors going into bidding wars, lowering their prices one by one to undercut everyone else.

Ya I was just thinking how other sites match Steam. Also the refunds I never understood as they always gave me a no hassle refund when I asked for one for years before that policy. But I think I have only asked for 2 or 3.

I picked up a new niche-y games.
Raiders of Forsaken Earth -- lead a bandit gang in post-apoc world... Will you become a benevolent leader... or destructive despot who preys on the survivors?
Galactic Junkers -- comedy x FTL
Project Nimbus -- yes, it's an action mecha game, but it's A buck and a quarter!
Stellar Tactics -- RPG with a XCOM-like ground combat AND an 3D space flight combat? For under $20? Worth a try at least...
AND I have to play through the Indie Space Hits I bought earlier as well. Should be busy for a while.
This just launched on Steam yesterday I guess. I've played it through Ubisoft for quite a bit. I liked some parts of it, especially going through the parts of DC like the museums. I didn't much like the set piece big fights. However, for nine bucks there's a lot of shootie goodness there.

287 hours on ubisoft for me. It was excellent, but the end game can be a grind. Co-op makes it a lot better too.
free (until January 23, when it will be delisted from the Steam store) - from the makers of Slayaway Camp:
note all the DLC episodes are free now as well
i guess the license expired.

Not quite… if you look at the DLC section, most of the DLC episodes are free until January 23. But it seems you must purchase the last four -- i.e. episodes 9, 10, 11, and 12 -- if you want to complete the story or get all the achievements.
