Ive always wondered why deaf from birth people who get hearing dont go mad from the constant noise they've never heard. I mean their own breathing or the buzz of electronics would probably drive me insane if it was dead silent for 30 years then I suddenly heard the world all the time.

That makes sense because the deaf can often feel very loud sounds or shocks on their skin the same way you can feel direct sunlight on it. Think of how you can feel the pressure of the music at a rock concert.

Not to take away from what's funny there, but I often wonder about people claiming to be a direct descendant of some famous someone five hundred or a thousand years ago. To say that implies that all the claims of paternity were accurate. The more generations you count, the less likely that is.
