Maybe...except that you can't have 'The Empire Strikes Back' after the empire was destroyed in episode six. Technically, it's The First Order in episode seven, a new entity that was formed from the remnants of empire.

Well to be pedantic, they wouldn't have made any more (or less) sense if named that way in the order they were released, but I think the amusement value of the video is how well that works in retrospect. It also illustrates just how much the titles devolved into word salad by episode 9.

I don't think it's better. I think the takeaway is that the titles were largely inane beyond the original trilogy. The Last Jedi was kind of good. But please, there's no meaning that could possibly make The Phantom Menace a non-laughable title for a serious film in the modern era.

I didn't even know that was a thing. This was from 2016? I guess conditions would be carefully monitored, but that's insane. You'd think wind/drift would be a huge concern. The net was only 100ft/30m.

IKR, I can't see me every using that, which is why I will promptly forget it. All of the rest of the abbreviations are intuitive to me except SMH but SMH made sense once I looked it up however long ago that was and I internalized it right away. MRW is like learning a bond in chemistry for a test for something I could never seem me caring about in the 11th grade.

I use /smh a lot. I think it's very dependent on ones environment. In my current role at my current company, it is, sadly, far too appropriate.
Edit: Though I use it in company Teams chat. I don't know if I would ever use it in a text on a phone.
