hehe I used to play all those old Koei games on my NES back in the day. My favorite was set in WW2 in the pacific. But I think I was much better at Nubunga's Ambition than any of the others. I could win that one. Those games were huge! I rented everything and Id have to re rent those games 2 or 3 times to be able to play or finish them.

Not old, though. Came out for the PC in September. It's just that nobody know it.

I knew what it was immediately (as I have with quite a few of these games) but frankly had no clue what I'd post as a follow-up.

This is why I didn't give the serious (mostly-obvious) answer as well.

Was that a good game tgb? The graphics are really compelling.

Good game, with some flaws. Very heavy on the micromanagement, and only one map/campaign. The only difference in the scenarios is the starting locations and strength of the factions. As a result, not a lot of replay value. Myself and one other around here (Ashrak orTriggercut iirc) were the only ones playing it, but we had a fairly lengthy impressions thread over at GBT

Then again, it's only $20. Steam might have it, but I know for sure you can get it off Direct2Drive. I don't know of any other sources.

That looks very Blizzard-ish. Warcraft III? Never played it, could be way off.

Hint: While this is indeed a PC game, it is a port of a PS2 game.

No idea, but the art design looks like something from one of the 3D Myst games or the latest Prince of Persia.

Here's a hint - It's not Rise of Legends, but it is an RTS.

At first I thought TA Kingdoms but then I noticed the graphics more and I think I know what it is I just cant think of it. Its the one with the steampunk'ish setting and the airships and such IIRC.

Armies of Exigo. That first screenshot is really nice -- I had assumed it must be from a more recent game.
