If it's a video game it goes here.

New XBOX! what should I get?

Post by GargoyleBoy »

So, my wife bought my PS2 an XBox to keep it company, and bought Fable to go with it. Which was awfully nice of her.

My question is this: What games do you guys consider must-have for the X-Box? (Not too interested in sports or racing games, though)

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
Halo 2
Chronicles of Riddick
Crimson Skies
Otogi 1+2
Ninja Gaiden
Voodoo Vince
Deathrow
Steel Battalion :D
I can't imagine, even at my most inebriated, hearing a bouncer offering me an hour with a stripper for only $1,400 and thinking That sounds like a reasonable idea.-Two Sheds

I'd been thinking about KOTOR. It's now on my list.
Chronicles of Rddick also. I'll give the other ones a look-see, see if they appeal to me. thanks!

Having lots of fun with Fable right now.

You need to rent Burnout 3 and see if it changes your mind on racing games. Its amazingly fun.

You know, I didn't think I would like racing games either when I got my XBox. I decided to buy one just to make sure I was right, and at the time Burnout 3 was not released. So I got Project Gotham Racing 2. OMG! I love that game. The only game I love more in Prince of Persia.

So, I would recommend:

Prince of Persia (lots of acrobatic fun to be had here)
Project Gotham Racing 2 (in spite of your comment! )
Gladius (if you like TBS RPGs, I just got this one and have been loving it so far)

To a lesser degree (mostly cause I suck at these games, so I don't like them as much as other people seem to):
Halo (I'm not good at FPS games on the console yet)
Crimson Skies (Why do I suck at this game?!)
What the smurf are you smurfing at?!

I think the game you're thinking of is called Circle 2.

I'll... take a look at it. I find racing games boring. It was the hardest part, for example, of Ratchet & Clank for me to get through, and mostly just because going over the same track over and over again... seems pointless.

I just finished Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance on PS2. Is the X-Box version substantially different?
