I'm gonna backtrack my salt comment. I definitely know I add seasonings, but, no, I'm not a salt addict.

To be honest, the last time I actually made condensed soup was fairly early in the century.

It's so damn easy to make yourself, I just make my own these days if I am making something that calls for it (pretty rare now...maybe a tuna casserole or something along those lines).

I don't make casseroles and such that call for it but my mom still does and with lots of not cream of mushroom. The only time I use it as an ingredient is if I'm slow cooking pork chops. I slow cook pork chops with cream of mushroom and potatoes. Potatoes absorb a lot of the salt from the pork chops and soup and the soup keeps the pork chops from becoming dry and tough. Then I get soup, potatoes, and pork chops for a meal. I rarely have a meal. I usually eat a prepared thing. So I guess even then I'm not having the soup as an ingredient. It goes back to being soup by the time I eat it.
