Scarlett Johansson ranked Hollywood's top-grossing actress

Scarlett Johansson has taken the crown as Hollywood's highest-grossing actress ever.

A website called Box Office Mojo that tracks how much money movies make lists Johansson as the top-earning actress . It says her films have made more than $3.3 billion. Cameron Diaz is the second-highest-grossing actress, at just over $3 billion.

Johansson's status on the list is no doubt helped by her recurring role as Black Widow in the Avengers series and other Marvel blockbusters, including this year's "Captain America: Civil War."

Despite being tops among actresses, Johansson sits in just 10th place overall. Box Office Mojo lists Harrison Ford as the all-time champion. It says his movies have earned nearly $4.9 billion in theaters.

Good. I was going to lose some respect for her if she followed through with the role. The role should be played by a trans actor, it’s not as if they don't exist.

And as far as the US Constitution protecting American art, I'm guessing that you are talking about the same US Constitution that says that the Senate should approve the President's Supreme Court nominees and that the President cannot receive money from foreign governments. I hear that Disney has a new live action Peter Pan movie coming out. To avoid any controversy and even though the role of Peter the perpetually young Boy has always traditionally been played by a women on the stage. They have already cast the role with someone who really identifies as Peter Pan so there is zero chance of offense given.

*if* you actually did, you'd know that Freedom of Speech is currently the strongest held Freedom of the American people, and even the new appointments by "nightmare mcsmallhands" to the SCOTUS are (still) on board. No one is going to take away your precious movies, and if private entities bow to public pressure, well THAT'S HOW IT'S SUPPOSED TO WORK. That's a feature not a flaw.

If you want to get your little band of anti-SJW together and make your own noise in the marketplace of ideas so that private entities have more voices to listen to that's fine, that's how it's supposed to work too.
