Something that I have neglected to point out is that Squash Bot's Shield has been facing forward since Turn 1.

Squash Bot gingerly steps off E as a gout of flame erupts where he used to be.
Spin Bot engages reverse gear, pushing Twonky clear of the flamer, just as it pours out of the wall into Spin Bot (1 damage).
Hammer Bot steps back from the edge.
Out of one flaming square, and into another, Twonky faces Spin Bot as his vision becomes partiall obscured by soot (1 damage)


Twonky 'thanks' Spin Bot for the assistance with a laser up the tailpipe. (1 damage, locking register 5!)

Twonky hastily detaches his Flywheel and presses it against the flamer nozzles embedded in the wall, preventing further damage. Unfortunately, the Flywheel is damaged beyond repair and must be cast aside.

For ending the phase in front of active flamers, Twonky and Spin Bot each takes an additional point of damage. (Locking Twonky's register 5 and Spin Bot's register 4!)

(Technically, I should be asking Spin Bot after the laser, and then follow-up with the flamer damage and prompt. Lumping them all together should result in faster processing)

And I just realized that this statement is wrong. Twonky came into Turn 4 with 3 damage. He took 1 damage from the flamer and then deflected 1 damage by ditching his Flywheel.

This leaves him at 4 damage with no locked registers. Updating Phase 1...

It's possible that I may have been handling the flamer tiles a little incorrectly, but I haven't reviewed any old turns yet to see. The rule text from the Radioactive Factory Floor Guide:
When a robot moves onto or through an active flamer, or when a robot executes a rotate card on an active flamer, the robot receives 1 point of damage.
I read this as moving *off* of an active flamer will not result in damage. Similarly, getting pushed off of an active flamer would not result in damage.

Going forward, this is how I will be treating flamers.

Squash Bot turns right to stare longingly at Flag 1.

Twonky gets pushed W onto the conveyor belt.

Spin Bot updates his archive location.

(As noted in the post above, Spin Bot's action prevents flamer damage from his and Twonky's starting tiles.)

I've reviewed the game to present and fortunately there have been no instances before Turn 4 Phase 4 where a player initiated movement *from* a flamer.

With a steady beam, Twonky shoots Spin Bot - *krazow*! Spin Bot's brittle frame can sustain no more damage and his head slowly nods forward as his eyelights slowly wink out. (1 damage - Spin is Bot destroyed!)

I've searched for clarifications on whether or not an Interceptor token would get discarded on bot destruction, but haven't found anything. I'm still thinking about this / searching.

I presume that Twonky will likely be interested in coming in with 2 damage facing West again.
