Just think it's a little early to start the bandwagon up. We haven't even heard from half of the participants, and I already have 2 votes.

I've just seen how quickly someone can go from zero to dead in round 1 of these games, and I'm not quite ready to die.

Since in the past it has proved more successful to force folks to participate I will start the move to get the quiet ones. Yankeeman84 make your presence known or die.

I'd also like to withdraw ChaosRaven from the nominations since it looks like the friendly banter is over.

I would withdraw my vote since he now has 2 but that is just to funny to be taken seriously. I will watch to be sure I pull my vote later if he comes close to death before others are heard from, but only to avoid the early bandwagon, I may come back. And Bahktosh always seems a good target for my own self-defense. :D

As I said, I fully intend to switch my vote if he appears but no appearance = no entertainment.

Ok... I had the oddest dream last night (and no... that doesn't mean I'm the
seer... the game's started and nobody has done anything but Ralph, who
killed Captain Caveman in a cut and paste accident... I think we can forgive
him for that.)

I had been checking my inbox (surprisingly empty as I am not currently
running one of these games, and have been eaten in each of the games
I was in) hoping to find I was going to be something cool.

Now, in reality, before I went to bed, I had nothing but a message from
LordMortis stating that I forgot to turn my phone on... and no, he's not
communicating with the dead, if you are part of the No PM game, it was
about tickets for an event coming up.

So I was sad.

Just another normal guy destined to get eaten as usual for my prolific
post count and random stabs in the dark trying to elicit defensive posturing
and freudian slippage.

So back to my dream...

I got a PM stating I was a sibling! Hooray! Now I get to determine how
I wanna play it? Open right off with the announcement? Get everyone to
PM me with their roles and I get to weed out the liars and have at least
one night of safety from the doctor? So in my dream we did just that
and it worked perfectly... all the bad guys dead bang bang bang.

But then I woke up.

So here we are into the Random Deacapitation mode and only the
bad guys and the siblings have any information (ok yes, you goons, each
of us that aren't a bad guy knows we are not as well, but a single vote
doth not a voting block make...)

What kind of patterns do we get to look for?

Those who vote and change their minds.
Those who post real close to each other.
Those who follow.
Those who vote together.
Those who vote apart.
Those who lead theothers.

Did I miss anything?

See... it really doesn't matter what kind of pattern we establish. The
standard seems to be kill the quiet ones.

To force the bad guys to speak up in the hopes they'll slip up, perhaps?

But remember that it does the same thing to the seer... to fly within
acceptable parameters of posting... this porridge is JUST RIGHT.

Anyway.

I am the village idiot. My power is that I can be eaten and everyone
within the good guy side that has an ability is safe. Only thing better
would be if the bad guys accidentally kill one of their own... heh.

I can be lynched/decapitated/catapulted/fired and although a bad guy
has not been eliminated, neither has someone with a viable useful
ability.

Matter of fact, because I never shut up, the bad guys have a habit of
killing me early not because I have keen analytical abilities or the
deductive reasoning dangerous to sleuth out those who deserve
death but rather because it'sthe only way to get some damned silence
around here... and as a warning to others that they should keep their
head down and post count light or become marked for death.

But fear not my brothers! If we all rise up and chatter away happily
they can only kill one of us each night!

So... I got no PM. I have nothing to contribute but my standard
observations of patterns I perceive and what they might mean.

I'll vote a little later.

Oh believe me, I understand the 'poke 'em 'til they squeak' methodology of
making sure people sound off in these games...

I'm just stating that by my own standards of odd behavior an immediate
response to the same is suspicious. So by naming me by coincidence right
before I'm done typing makes it look as though my post is a direct
response to your "speak up or we cut your head off"... as a method
to save my own life.

Behavioral Patterns for day one

Bakhtosh jokes about decapitating Chaosraven to deprive the zombies of
their favorite meal 19 minutes after game begins

Remus West responds by accusing Bakhtosh for stealing his joke 11 minutes later

Arcanis response voicing his attendance is followed quickly by Remus West
Setaside and Bakhtosh, then Remus and Arcanis... all in the six minute
span it took to read and type.

ChrisGrenard and tgb decide to hold off on any accusations

Remus posts the list of quiet ones for prodding.

Arcanis prods, Chaosraven responds, back to back banter.

I was expecting someone to tell me that the reason the zombies are always so mad is because their first meal is always so small. :P

Unless that was a deliberate jab at the size of my miniscule genitalia
I'm offended.

Or did I get that backwards...

Let me see... small, meal, miniscule... I might have gotten that wrong.

just to add to what CR said with some fun numbers:
Chance of Lynching by random vote
Psy: 6.6%
Doc: 6.6%
Siblings: 13.3%
Zombie: 20%
Poor Sap: 53.3%

.2% loss due to lathargy and stupid repeating decimals.

edit to put in a more logical order.

well its time to poke Yankeeman84 with a stick. My method has worked very well so far i've gotten everyone i've accused to start posting rather quickly. Now the sucky part cracking someones head open once YM answers.

Further reflections:

St_Dysan makes a joke vote for a player who is killed as often as I am yet
is not in this game.

Remus immediately responds with what can only hope is a joke...

NoxiousDog has contributed a oneliner to the discussion

Yossar, Mr Bubbles, and Setaside post twice each without claim or accusation.

And Chaosraven posts often enough now that he is here that he makes me look quiet. And still wonders why he gets eaten. By the way, I figured out why you get eaten and I don't. People know I am a Lions fan and they take pity on my exsistance. Plus, you proved my ability to be manipulated in your first game.
