Alright. If I drop down to 3rd, I suffer a 1 in 4 chance of shorting the turn, but I'm in a better position to be in 4th leading to 5th for the end of the race. 4th I'm guaranteed to make the corner, but a high roll would force me to drop to 3rd.
Shorting the turn would absolutely destroy me.

Don't work about me, worry about Nick, he's the one with all the brakes and tires. Seemed like he came from out of nowhere, but really I just passed him a turn ago. I was really hoping he would stay inside. 3rd gear leaves me a 50% chance of missing the turn, 4th gear pretty much forces me to go middle lane and a decent chance of having to go down to 2nd next turn or using the rest of my brakes. Hentzau has to go 3rd next time.
