A moment in time. A piece of history to us now. Must have been so frightening at the time to those who were there in it. This is a video that shows how that moment was captured by so many. A point in time.
If there is such a thing I wonder how many time travelers were there and their locations to capture and experience it all. Record it for history and posterity.

One of the best movies ever put to film. I sat in my aunt and uncles house next door in front of their tv and watched this on HBO in the beginning days. I was 12 years old and this movie set me on my path to learn and read and watch everything ever put down to learn about King Arthur and his knights and the sword Excalibur. It would be many MANY years later Id learn that this sword was not Excalibur but instead Caliburn.

This is a pivotal moment in the film..one of many....where Arthur learns of the sword and himself before all.

They were funny or funnier when they were out of character even. Man this was such a good show. Cant believe its been like 28 years.

I think of this first video every time I see Joe Biden. he seemed so much younger there. Only 6 years ago.



And this one is 2 months ago. Doesn't seem a lot changed in the videos but as President he seems so much older or weaker. He seems to talk softer now too.

The pilots were filmed in color.

But a lot of people didn't have a color set.

Which is part of the reason it got made. It was partially funded to sell color TVs. Go look at the wild swathes of color on the walls sometime. They put those colored lights on everything to really blow people away when they saw it in color.

My family had the first color set in our neighborhood. My friends all came over after school to watch Batman...IN COLOR!!!

The Seattle Aquarium was worried when they had to move their growing octopus to a new tank with other fish and sharks in it. They figured he should be ok with his size and ability to hide. Well he was just fine...it was the sharks that had something to fear as the octopus killed them all...methodically...one at a time...and left their parts at the bottom of the tank.

Feast your eyes upon this great entertainment. I never missed watching these as a kid in the 70s. I knew them all from the shows I watched. The men were tough and cool and the ladies the beautiful and fine.. Was a wonderful time to grow up.
