But you've been lobbying for everyone to test you instead of Kraegor... Does that mean you're not being logical? Or what?stessier wrote:And you usually don't have such petty emotions. Because I have negative vibes about my PM interaction with Semaj and more favorable vibes about my PM interaction with stessier.Remus West wrote:Now then, suppose we lynch one of the two people who are being pointed to as wolves by "seer" scan. That tells us something. It is also interesting that, rather than stand by your "seer" Semaj and push to lynch his wolf (Chaosraven), you turn on him and try to get him lynched. Why would you want to lynch a potential Seer rather than test them by their scan?
Gut, mi amigo. Gut.
That's not very nice.Given his current behavior, my money is on Kraegor and Grundbegriff as the furry fiends.

Didn't expect a he said, were said, seer-off.

Re: Werewolf 101 Tuesday Morning - Chris Groundard
Kraegor smiled and whistled a happy tune as he was on his way to the gallows. (He was a happy sort and always in good cheer) As the floor dropped from under him, his neck snapped like a twig and he went still. "Looks like we missed again" someone said from the crowd.
It is Night, Seer sen...
"What was that?"
Suddenly Kraegor twitched and trembled. A clawed hand came swiping at Scoop and stopped just before contact. The sparkle of silver shone from a notch in a gallows support. Kraegor is dead and Kraegor was a werewolf.
It is night. Seer, send me your scan. Wolf - send me your kill.

Dawn came and the village was quiet; too quiet. Though a pleasant peaceful quiet, like an annoying buzz you hadn't realized was there, was now gone and things just felt better. Yes, the Raving had finally ceased; Chaosraven was eaten by a werewolf. Chaosraven is Dead.

Stessier pointed an accusatory finger at Grundbegriff, "Him, he's a wolf! I saw it in a dream!"
Remus looked only slightly skeptical, "If you're the seer, why are you still alive?"
"I dunno, maybe Grund second guessed himself and maybe he saw the end and wanted to go to space."
"Yeah, good point" said Semaj."
So they took Grund and taught him how to control his powers and they all went off to fight the Cylons, and lived happily ever after.
The End
Village wins!
Seer = Stessier
Wolves = Grundbegriff and Kraegor

Since I got a laugh out of it (and it looks like Scoop did too), this is what I sent to Grund last night -
I doubt it figured in very much to Grund's decision to let me live, but whatever the reason, I thank him. I haven't lived to the end of one of these...since my first game now that I think about it. Nice to finally break that streak.
And, because I wanted to cover all my bases, this went to Semaj.stessier wrote:You can't win, Wolf. If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine.
I mean, I would never lie about being the mouthpiece for another. And if I did, I could never do it convincingly. Nor would I ever leave a code that a true Seer could reference to show the plan. What would be the point?

How do I owe mister bubbles?
It's not like I was a viable target day 1 for a change, or night 1.
ok maybe I was, but I think most people expect me to die on day one or day 2 so it makes not killing me seem wiser
Ok I understood the fake seer gambit Grund. Had Steiss not scanned Krae you might have taken the obvious heat of Kraegor who was your best chance ot make it to end game.
What I dont understand was the killing of chaosraven.
Was it a spite thing?

And Chaos should get most of the credit for winning this one. He and I had been PM'ing a bit and after I got Kraegor as a wolf, I went to him and said I was really suspecting Scoop and Grund as being wolves (the previous day I had said Remus and Grund). Without any prompting, he sent Grund
P.S.I really want to know what this looked like from the wolves angle. I hope Kraegor or Grund will indulge us.
And that started everything else. So three cheers for the Raving Master!Chaosraven wrote:Yer busted.

The other option is voting for people you expect to be around 3 or 4 days. Purge, You, Mipe.... Getting a trusted voting block.
I tend to look for wolves in games where the miss amount is lower. So thats why it made sense to me.

Some claim to know more than they ever will.
I don't claim anything, because no one would believe the truth anyways.

That was mostly thrown in there for the case where you were a wolf. I know you didn't say that, but being smug and rubbing in my obvious brilliant fake was just part of the role I was creating on the fly. No offense taken or anything like that.Semaj wrote:I've never said you were a bad player steiss...
All of this has been noted and added to your Rolodex file...er, I mean, interesting.I just said if you and Mipe were the day 1 and 2 scans I'da called shenanigans. To me Grund/Chaos/Me make more sense as day 1 or 2 scans.
The other option is voting for people you expect to be around 3 or 4 days. Purge, You, Mipe.... Getting a trusted voting block.
I tend to look for wolves in games where the miss amount is lower. So thats why it made sense to me.

That is just silly. You previously said you expect to die early. That makes you a horrid scan choice for early on. Same with Grund, he is on a short life span (or should be) so scanning him is a waste since either the village or the wolves should kill him early. If your scan hits a wolf great but you want to avoid what happened to stessier and have your scans eaten the night you make them.Semaj wrote:I've never said you were a bad player steiss...stessier: to Semaj wrote:I mean, I'm not a very good player...
