Give yourself some credit. Any other nation would only be 2/3 right now. You are all the way up at 3/4. :P

I should stop waiting. This has become an every turn occurance rather than the exception. I would go ahead but it would unbalance the game so badly at this point. I'm honestly torn on the issue.

I'm fine with that, but if you do decide that you should make an announcement to start the next game year. Something like "moves are due by midnight EST on the announced day. If you do not submit your moves by then, you have until midnight the next day to PM me with an explanation (and the moves), or else I will run the next turn with the moves received the previous midnight and nothing else. The deadline may be extended with advance notice."

It is kind of a conundrum, though, in that significant no-orders aren't really a whole lot of fun. In any event, so long as there's advance notice I'm fine with anything you decide.

Thats the problem. Orders are supposed to be due ON the due date, hence the name. There is ample time for folks to alert me if they need to be late IMO. The reason I do not run turns without orders is because it has such a drastic effect on the game (see the Turkey situation you stepped into). Still, I think it unfair to other players that are abiding by the deadline so it is an issue. I am hoping and thinking that bringing it to everyones attention will fix the problem however. I hope.

Not a lot you can do when the majority of the players aren't getting their moves in though. If it was everybody but one, sure, you can keep going if it takes long enough. But 3 of 4? Not really...
