You boneheads.

Either paulbaxter or pr0ner was the convert last night. If we knew who pr0ner scanned, we would know for certain. As it is, I'm 90% sure it was paul.

I am suspecting game fatigue is setting in abit. Guess by the silence that yesterdays treasurer
1. Was on the temple side
2. was converted
3. found some goodies, but doesnt want to talk today, since they dont want those goodies stolen, and want a chance to use em.

I am really, really hoping its option 3 there.

What makes you suspect that proner or paul were the converts stessier? If there was a conversion, yes i am holding out slime hope that we were able to block em yesterday via some theft attacks. But the fact no one admitted to anythign...blah.

How do you know pr0ner scans? Why would you trust his scan if you think he was was a convert?

OTOH if we waited for KK things might have been different.

I don't doubt the pr0ner was the convert. But it if we are going to push the game then we are going to push the game.

Unagi. Austin. Pr0ner. Makes the most sense. But if the Temple are already doing what makes the most sense the game is already over.

With no powers, no money, and no hope of winning the game in spite of naming the three bad guys on day 1 I confess to being a bit apathetic towards things. I expect we get nothing from this lynch, maybe manage to lynch Unagi tomorrow then go into the next day with 3 bad guys AGAIN. Without ever missing.

As for the convert, it is a matter of caring enough to go back and figure out who was "in the know" or not and working the process of elimination from there.

How do you not know? He scanned KK yesterday. He won't say who he scanned today. That is the problem. But since no one else has said anything... That is why I am 90% sure. 10% left for him scanning a Templar and then getting Converted.

paul seemed a little over anxious to vote today, too.
I don't doubt the pr0ner was the convert.
I do, obviously.

I still think Unagi, Newcastle, paul.

Re: [WW] Deep Cover (Thursday Night)

Had any random visitor passed through the Grand Plaza in the old district of P----, he would've seen a peculiar sight.

There, in the clear, cobblestoned area near the fountain, he would've seen the pensive and despondent members of a particularly elite club pacing to and fro as they checked their pocketwatches, glanced at the civic clocktower, and mumbled importantly to themselves or one another.

Not far from this scene, the visitor would've encountered another: a middle-aged man in native garb giggling and performing somersaults among the pigeons.

The visitor would likely not know what to make of such scenes, but as the station chief of the Great Wall walked the perimeter of the plaza and considered the facts, he knew: his agents had scheduled an execution, but someone had forgotten to hire the executioner. Or they had neglected to give him directions. Or perhaps he had been given wrong information.

Tumblers and bumblers.

Many miles away, something crawled through the slime at the bottom of a dark Scottish loch.

The execution had been thwarted!

Thursday Night Period

The Day Period is now over. Any agent currently in possession of funds must now file a purchase order requesting or waiving equipment.

Agents with other capabilities need not wait to file their orders.
All night actions will be resolved completely before the Temple is required to act.

Agents, what will you buy?
Operatives, whom will you rob?
Operatives, whom will you protect?
Operatives, whom will you trail?
Templars, will you employ false credentials?
Master of Disguise, with whom will you swap?
DIT-bearers, with whom will you swap?
Analyst, whom will you profile?
MP-bearers, whom will you profile?
FAK-bearers, whose provenance will you uncover?
Temple, will you Kill, Convert, or Pass?

It came to me in a dream...which is kinda sad actually.

I don't think pr0ner can be converted. How do they get the MoD's token unless he gives it up himself? MP's or DiT''s only effect his sidecar, right? If that's true, that means paul was definitely the convert.

If subjected to an involuntary DiT (someone DiTs him) he will lose his MoD status I think, not just the sidecar.

I forget, do they kill tonight? They converted yesterday, right?

The game might still be winnable actually, but I think the "Templars can be Wall Treasurers" rule is kinda borked, as is the execution thwarting. Something to evaluate.

Or he can lose his role through CCC, as happened to me. Would take an additional day.

First day: Scoop (Templar) was lynched.
First night: Someone was converted.
Second day: No one was lynched.
Second night: Sean (Wallie) was killed.
Third day: triggercut (Templar) was lynched.
Third night: Someone was converted.
Fourth day: No one was lynched.

TOTAL: 15 players.
DEAD: 3 - Scoop, Sean, triggercut.
Living Templars: 3 - Unagi, (convert), (convert).
Living Wallies: 9.

...

FUTURE:

Assume someone is killed tonight, tomorrow night someone is converted, night after that killed etc.
Assume Wall members get the Treasurer role every day from now on (including yesterday).
Assume all future lynches are successful and on target (no misses, always a Templar lynch).

(Wall-Templar)
Fourth night: A Wallie is killed. (8-3)
Fifth day: A Templar is lynched. (8-2)
Fifth night: A Wallie is converted. (7-3)
Sixth day: A Templar is lynched. (7-2)
Sixth night: A Wallie is killed (6-2)
Seventh day: A Templar is lynched (6-1)
Seventh night: A Wallie is converted (5-2)
Eighth day: A Templar is lynched (5-1)
Eighth night: A Wallie is killed (4-1)
Ninth day: A Templar is lynched (4-0)

Great Wall wins on the ninth day, assuming. If a single lynch is botched, or the Treasurer role once again falls to Templar control, we're toast pretty much. Of course, there's the chance of interrupting Temple conversions/kills as well.

Edit: Miscount.

Alright, I won't ask for an explanation then. I'll just call you stupid. #1 Unagi still lives and is openly Temple. #2 we might still be able to gain some intel that would give us a better point between Newcastle and Austin. #3 it is still night so advertising any intentions "favors the friggin' Temple". :P

[WW] Deep Cover (Friday Morning Budget Assessment Period)

Friday Morning Budget Assessment Period

ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

It's a bright, sunny morning in P----, and all is well. Except for the body parts that have been found scattered in alleys and byways near the plaza....

And this time it's Remus West. Poor Remus-- destined to a corporal afterlife of neglect and exposure.

As the members of the Great Wall gathered to stare at the corpse, their rage peaked. Vengeance against the hated Temple would be theirs!

Today's budget tiers will be sent to the Treasurers.

Treasurers (once your budgets arrive :ninja:) how will you allocate your funds?
