Tock. A careless word ends one path, opens another. Tick, tock. Tick, tock. Always running out of time. Yours is almost used up. You're between seconds - lost in the infinite possibilities between tick and tock. Tick. You're alive. Tock ... Well, it was a good life, but a short one. Tick, tock. Tick, tock. Tick...

Uh huh. I think we can all read the timestamps. Besides, you know that editing your posts is a bad idea, right?
i know it is gentlemens rules on edits it is the players who i have to satisfy with my edits.

and apparently you have a problem with time stamps:
my post you quoted 2:00
my correction 2:03
your post with the quote 2:05
my edit of my correction post showing where i inserted information to make it coherent again, and adjusted the analysis : 2:07
it was all laid out and the information correcting the error was included in the first draft of it hence the [insert] brackets to signify where i was inserting information to make myself clear and the edit: to show the impact of said changes.
so how is it that i royally screwed up here.

well since i'm so dense and obviously can't comprehend the scenario you are talking about why don't you tell me the other scenario. I have already covered either of us being bound and either us or or partner getting killed in the lynch, and i suppose if we were bound to each other would be covered in that scenario as well.

Fine - I'll lay out tomorrow's three possibilities again.

What we know:

One evil player remains - two evil players are dead.
Two soulbound players almost certainly remain - Isgrimnur would've been out about it if they'd been killed. It's remotely possible that Lassr was soulbound to a living Hel.
Arcanis accuses Brendan of being evil having "scanned" him.
Brendan accuses Arcanis of being evil by deduction.
Arcanis and Brendan are the only serious candidates for the remaining Jotnar.

Scenario A:

4 players left alive
1 evil, 3 good
Action to take: vote for Arcanis or Brendan. Duh.

Scenario B:
5 players left alive
1 evil AND soulbound, 1 soulbound, 3 good
Action to take: Good can still win if they pick correctly between Arcanis and Brendan.

Scenario C:

5 players left alive
1 evil, 2 soulbound, 2 good
Action to take: If Arcanis and Brendan are both alive, the soulbound players need to kill whichever one they think is actually the Jotnar. If the soulbound get the evil player killed, the soulbound win. If a good player is killed instead of the evil player, the evil player may win if he correctly guess a soulbound for his night kill. Good can't win.

We will know tomorrow if we're in scenario A. We (the Aesir/einherjar) won't be able to distinguish between B and C. However, we must assume we are in B, and act accordingly, as that's our only chance of winning.

In all 3 scenarios, it's a vote for Arcanis or Brendan.

3 scenarios if the bound don't pop:
1. Go after bound any way to promote Jotnar victory
2. kill me and he has 2/3 chance to hit bound tonight and win.
3. kill him game ends Vanir win.

if you think i'm the evil one then you swap him and me in the above scenarios.
Here's where you went wrong (again). These are false choices - no one should be voting for anyone other than you or me tomorrow, unless they're soulbound or evil (or stupid).

correct.
the only move left for Aesir is to presume Jotnar are bound.
killing the Jotnar among us is then a default move for killing a SB.

it's idiocy to kill anyone aside from Brenden/Arcanis as any other option does not lead to a victory condition.

well then lets see i covered all of what you said already so apparently you don't understand when i write things. its ok i'm not always explicitly clear.

as to the 'false choices' i said those were the options i didn't say it was a good idea. If you notice when i said going after the soul bound instead of me or Brendan i specifically stated that was the course to take if you wanted the Jot. to win. I pointed it out for completeness sake rather than as a real suggestion but that was obviously lost on some.

i'll be gone until tomorrow, or maybe late tonight, as i have class tonight and must leave soon.

When the first breeze came, everyone was anxious to see what transpired over this last still.

As Einherjar gathered in the earthy clearing, eyes were scanning the area's campsites for signs of more death.

"I've found a corpse!!" yelled an Einherjar as he made his way to the clearing. "Back here."

Everyone rushed to the campsite where they saw an Einherjar slumped over dead. A broken sword sticking out of his chest, thrust through from behind.

Most everyone just stood shaking their heads in sadness, a few helped to collect the body for burial.

It was the Einherjar from the House of Tru1cy.

"Here!!" Yelled another Einherjar.

"Here is a second!! They killed another!!"

The Einherjar exchanged looks of shock.

Running up to the second campsite, they came across the dead body of the Einherjar from the House of Arcanis... apparently dead by his own hand.

your arguments were fairly persuasive. arcanis, thanks to the holes he kept leaving in his analysis, would have been my first choice as lynch. My own goal yesterday was to simply confuse you on who could be soulbound. As luck would have it, things turned out better than expected.

Thank god Bubbles has been around to pay attention to the goings-on; I appreciate your thoughtful play, good sir. Now we just need theohall to make that decisive third vote, giving us our unequivocal victory, or, failing that, for him to go on vacation for about 6.7 days.
