American TV in Eastern Europe

So I have a few very close friends that live in Bosnia. Occasionally, they send me little gems of ICQ or email goodness. Today, this made me laugh:

we watch Jerry Springer and Oprah show regulary on TV. It's a great show and everybody can see American greatness in it - Jerry Jerry Jerry

last time the theme was 'My Favorite Pimp'
so exciting

I just about died laughing.

Wow my furture wifey is from Bosnia... She was very confused the first time she heard Rosannes real voice when she saw the show over here. Her father went on and on one night about how Hollywood really distorts peoples view of our country. He was disappointed to see not everyone walked down the street was dropdead gorgeous.

Where in Bosnia they from? My gf is from Brcko her neighborhood is pretty much wiped from the map during the war. Showed me pictures of it and has some pretty terrible stories....
