Spike Videogame Awards

Yes, it's cheesy. And PC Games are oversadowed by consoles, but there's a chance to show your love for Rome:Total War for Best Military Game (against Warhammer:Dawn of War) and Best PC Game. And there are plenty of options for Half-Life 2 fanbois to show their love.

But Vote or Die, right?

“It is the impractical things in this tumultuous hell-scape of a world that matter most. A book, a name, chicken soup. They help us remember that, even in our darkest hour, life is still to be savored.” - Poe, Altered Carbon

I have nothing to do with this.

I remember the awards from last year: they were completely stupid, too. I see that GOTY this year gives us five whole choices... *sigh*

Still, as you say, vote or die.

Oh, geeze, what awful selections. "Here are four gangsta/733t console games and a token PC game. Which one is game of the year?"

IGN and Gamespy both candidates for best site?

Best magazine - five adolescent console magazines to choose from. No PC Gamer, CGW, or PC Games.

At least half the nominees aren't unreleased like last year.

Gotta support your token pc games... Half-life 2 or Doom III could have a shot in a couple. And sports games are on the pc too... MMRPG? Hehe.
