Post by jpinard »

Yep, for once I used some willpower and did not play any of the games I'm addicted to... to do some housework! And it's such a good time for non-stop gaming! On my list:

* Sid Meier's Pirates (which isn't that great, but I'm playing a lot anyways).
* New Megamod patch for Pirates of the Caribbean.
* Newly patched Sims 2.
* Updated Madden 2005.
* Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 (still needs one more patch).
* Newly patched Myst IV Revelation.
* City of Heroes.
* Rome Total War (waiting for the big patch).
* Railroad Tycoon 3 with the wonderful megapatch.
* Pacific Fighters.
* Lock On Modern Combat.
* MS Flight Sim 2004 with mods.
* DOOM 3 with mods.
* Halo for pc.
* Morrowind ala everything.
* Deer Hunter 2005 (it's not THAT bad).

*bracing for the move to PCGG*

Good job jp. Wanna clean my shower? :P
kind of like a cloud I was up way up in the sky and I was feeling some feelings that I couldn't believe; sometimes I don't believe them myself but I decided I was never coming down

Yep. jpinard, if you're creating a post about multiple games, that post belongs in PC Gaming in General. (If you're making a post about a single released PC game, it's advisable to put that game's name in the subject line of your post -- folks generally come into PCGbT looking to talk about a game they're playing, and as such they'll quickly scan titles for their games as opposed to going hunting in PCGbT for generic conversations -- just as a FYI, we don't have policies regarding thread titles. I'm just trying to ensure that the maximum number of folks will be able to find posts of interest.)

You sound like me. I have so many games in my backlog. Instead of just doing "house cleaning" I should also not buy any more games.

I try to finish every game I play(if its single player) or play an hour for each dollar I spend if its multi only. I have over 100 games backlogged. I could probably play them for the next 10 years and not finish them all. Geez...

Yeah, I like it still after all of these years. My parents bought if for me for Christmas when it first came out and I just got around to playing it!

If you can find the Windows XP patch it's still alot of fun. What can I say....Sid Meier's games are awesome!

Usher: Haven't seen him.

They say it's even better than the first Sea Dogs with this massive patch, and I LOVED the original Sea Dogs. I'm still waiting for my eBay copy of PotC to arrive to play it all myself.
