Jesus, the battle happened on a Tuesday? Nobody should have to fight an inter dimensional battle for the fate of all life on the worst day of the week
how is Tuesday worse than Monday? is it because people just don't care too much when returning from the weekend, but two days in they decided they should crank on what they need to do before clocking out Thursday?
(and why are projects always due Friday night? shouldn't it be Thursday so if you have to stay late wrapping it up, you aren't eating into your weekend hours??)
Tuesday is like a mirage in the desert. It SEEMS like you're closer to salvation, but in reality you're almost as far away as Monday.
RIP to Burt. Rocky was all I knew him for I think. His character irritated me as he didn't learn from his mistakes and spending sprees.

He also starred in another seventies classic…

A year or two ago my friends and I embarked on a Rocky movie marathon and for some reason Paulie's line in Rocky Balboa: "I got a watch! I got two watches!" became a catchphrase. Ex: "Did you guys get an email about that party?" "I GOT AN EMAIL! I GOT TWO EMAILS!" We ran it into the ground and then proceeded to still keep saying it.
So of course when my buddy texted me the other day, "I got a coffin! I got two coffins!" I knew this sad day had come.
I never saw Shaft but know a lot of it and it's iconicness. But he was in a ton of other movies Ive watched over the years. RIP.

The instantly recognizable actor played ‘Bull,’ the gentle giant of the ‘Night Court’ cast, from 1984-1992.
Richard Moll, the 6’8″ actor who towered over the cast of the original ‘Night Court’ for episode after hilarious episode, has died. He was 80 years old, and according to TMZ, a rep for the family confirmed he died at home on October 26 in Big Bear Lake, California. He famously played “Bull” Shannon, the super-tall bailiff with a shaved head, on the show from 1984-1992, and was known for his comedic refrain of “Ohhh kay.”
Ohh noo. He was such a nice guy it seemed. Loved him in everything he did. 80. Time is flying fast. Harry and Markie and Bull are all gone. Doesn't seem that long ago.

Matthew Perry of Friends. Apparently drowned in his jacuzzi. First responders were answering a call of possible cardiac arrest. No drugs on the scene. I won't lie, I love Friends and I've always rooted for Perry to kick his addictions and find happiness. I feel bad for the others, as I'm sure they're gutted right now.

Sad news. Me and my wife loved watching Friends. Always seemed a casual kinda guy. Had his troubles but faced them.
You wouldn't think someone would simply drown in their hot tub without other circumstances. Like slipping and hitting your head. Or like Whitney Houston being drugged and drowning or drunk. Someone well and just falling asleep would seem to wake up soon as their face hit the water.
RIP old buddy. Sorry to hear this. He was 3 months younger than me.

You know how people can have a heart attack and fall to the floor? Imagine that in a jacuzzi.
Obviously, we don't know any real details yet, but cardiac arrest free of intoxication could be the cause.
Ya thats true could be the heart...54..past drug use.....just dont know. Hot tubs raise BP Ive heard.

My BIL's wife's sister died in a hot tub quite a few years ago, but it's a tossup whether it was an accident because drugs were involved. Stoned and relaxed is not the worst way to die.
I post this one because my wife loved both those shows and I remember seeing him a lot on the tv. Cardiac event it says at his apartment.
Too young.

Apollo astronaut Ken Mattingly at 87. He orbited the moon on Apollo 16 and flew the shuttle a couple of times, but he's best remembered at the guy who was bumped from commanding Apollo 13 three days before the flight because he was exposed to measles. "Commander Mattingly did not, in fact, develop German measles, and he played a significant part in the plan developed by the astronauts and mission control in Houston to get them home safely."

He would have been the command module pilot. The commander was Jim Lovell.
