Streamers being attacked

Post by Daehawk »

Theres yet a new attack on a streamer . A female streamer was streaming live on the beach when a group of 17 year old boys outright attacked her on camera. A day or so ago I think it was a Chinese streamer guy was attacked and had his hand cut off with a sword. A Japanese one was attacked and had all his camera gear stolen. And last year I think theres a video of as girl streaming at the beach and gets accosted by two fat ass guys wearing just swim trunks yelling at her that she is grotesque and shouldn't be wearing a bikini ON THE BEACH where kids are. And they were wearing less and butt ugly.

Its getting out of hand just how shitty people are. Im sick of them.

I'm more disturbed by the violence on the local transit system and in Ukraine and all the places not on my or the media's radar, but yeah I guess so.

I'm not aware of some kind of organized anti-streamer sentiment but I guess people who stream in public kind of make themselves targets for unruly, critical, and sometimes dangerous people. (Not in the victim-blaming sense, but just in terms of drawing attention to yourself doing something a segment of society scorns.)

I saw a commercial on late night TV. It said, "Forget everything you know about slipcovers." So I did. And it was a load off my mind. Then the commercial tried to sell me slipcovers, and I didn't know what the hell they were. -- Mitch Hedberg

I don't particularly want them filming me, either, but if I'm in public, I'm fair game (and it certainly isn't justification to attack them.)

Yeah, I don't love it. But I also want to be able to take simple photographs so it's only fair. If someone's holding a shot on me I can just mug for the camera as revenge. I also like to do that to security cams.

He doesn’t just enter the bank. He ENTERS the bank. He has his own theme song, a guy who makes a short announcement before he arrives, and a guy who drapes a cape over his shoulders when he gets tired and has to kneel.
He won. Period.
