It's almost as if people are the problem.

Re: Star Wars: Squadrons
Been having fun with this since getting it free. Its a beautiful game . And you dont die unless you're just god awful or mess up badly. Not like the old days of Tie Fighter reloads. Im just playing the single player story campaign for now. A mission every now and then and I leave and come back later to play again.

Re: Star Wars: Squadrons
I hope the people who played and loved Tie Fighter back in 1994 get to see or play Squadrons. Its not as detailed or as deep a sim but its easy to play and man oh man is it beautiful to look at. This is what i always imagined a Star Wars space game looking like. Its like almost movie quality. I think old players would be blown away. I know I smile at the graphics while Im playing.

Thinking about getting this for my Quest 2. Can anyone speak to the graphics/gameplay experience on VR?

Also do you need a separate joystick for VR, or does it use the same Oculus controllers?

I think you still have to use a flight stick. I can let you know this weekend.
And in banks across the world
Christians, Moslems, Hindus, Jews
And every other race, creed, colour, tint or hue
Get down on their knees and pray
The raccoon and the groundhog neatly
Make up bags of change
But the monkey in the corner
Well he's slowly drifting out of range

Flight stick, keyboard and mouse, or gamepad are all fine on Quest 2. Anything you can use with it on your monitor will work in VR. The graphics were great.

Finished Squadrons campaigns. Great ride and a beauty to look at. Kept it installed to try the multiplayer but Im not sure many play by now and most likely those that do make it no fun because they are so damn good at it.

Re: Star Wars: Squadrons
Just deleted Squadrons. The stories I heard seem true...no one is playing multiplayer. I thought there would still be players even after these few years because Xwing v Tie was crazy popular in the day. id hoped to try it after the campaign. But after trying to find a match in different modes it would never find a game after 2 and 3 minutes of looking. Oh well. had fun in the single player.
