I imagine I've said this around here before, but disaster girl lived just down the street from me at the time the picture was taken. I know her and am friends with her father who took the picture (and her mother, for that matter). I don't honestly remember the fire. Even though it was only a few blocks away, they lived on the other side of the railroad tracks. Super nice family all around.

This summer I had Pringles for the first time in probably 20 years. (I have a thing about avoiding processed snacks.)

They're great! The whole "potato crisp that melts in your mouth" effect is a delight. (I mean this sincerely!)
