Tick Tock!
And as of yesterday, all six seasons are available on Hulu. I just started season five.

It's rare that an ensemble cast strikes a perfect cord with me within the opening few minutes. Letterkenny did it in seconds. I could listen to Wayne and Daryl banter all day long.

A Lost producer will give The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy the TV treatment
Some of Hulu's originals are carried by Crave here in Canada, so hopefully this will show up here in due course. The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy is making the leap to the small screen. Hulu is developing a new TV series adaptation of the popular science fiction series penned by Douglas Adams.
So far, the production team includes Carlton Cuse as showrunner and Jason Fuchs as feature writer. Cuse’s television credits include Lost, Bates Motel, The Strain, and Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, while Fuchs did story work on Wonder Woman and provided the screenplay for Ice Age: Continental Drift.

Seth MacFarlane Adapting Clive Barker's Books of Blood for Hulu
Star Trek producer Brannon Braga, along with Family Guy and The Orville's Seth MacFarlane, are developing a film for Hulu: a new horror anthology movie based on entires from Clive Barker's short story collection, Books of Blood.
As Variety reports, Braga will co-write, executive produce, and direct the film (in his feature directorial debut). Braga is and executive producer on MacFarlane's The Orville, which will be moving to Hulu for Season 3.

Re: Hulu originals
I would love to see someone make this. As long as they’re not named Seth McFarlane and Brannon Braga.Daehawk wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2019 12:25 pm Seth MacFarlane Adapting Clive Barker's Books of Blood for Hulu

Re: Hulu originals
This is actually pretty good. Nicholas Hoult’s Peter II is hilarious. In lesser hands, the character would feel cheap and forced. But Hoult is so UNself conscious in the role that he makes it work on a slapstick level that had me laughing more than I expected.
He won. Period.

Hulu originals
Palm Springs is amazing. I never thought Groundhog Day would be topped (with that theme), but now it has been. Hilarious. Also 90% + on Rotten Tomatoes FWIW.

Re: Hulu originals
It's in fact shot pretty much in my backyard. A friend of mine was telling us a story about how they'd wanted to use his green 70's ford truck, which I think ended up being shown in the second season and wanted to make sure they could use it on an ongoing basis, but he said they'd only shown it for several seconds and was never seen again.

I think I still prefer Groundhog Day to Palm Spring, but the new movie was definitely entertaining. There were some twists to the time bending formula, and JK Simmons was fun to watch as always. Not a huge Milioti fan but I do usually like Samberg and he was fine here. I enjoyed it overall.

Finished Devs and enjoyed the ride though the ending left me wondering if they had lost their a way a bit.

Re: Hulu originals
I discounted this as just another bad romcom when I saw it advertised on Hulu. Looks like I need to watch it now as I was obviously wrong in that assumption. Thanks for the heads up.Carpet_pissr wrote: ↑Sat Sep 05, 2020 12:24 pm Palm Springs is amazing. I never thought Groundhog Day would be topped (with that theme), but now it has been. Hilarious. Re: Hulu originals
Actually when I saw romcom in the description, I almost didn't watch it also. Not my favorite genre to say the least. But if this is a rom-com, I may have to rethink that position.hepcat wrote: ↑Mon Sep 07, 2020 7:15 pmI discounted this as just another bad romcom when I saw it advertised on Hulu. I watched the trailer on this one. It looks like a nice combination of humorous, serious and topical. I think I'll give it a shot this weekend.
