Legend of Dead Kel is on par with the best missions in the main game, maybe even a little bit better. The rest you can safely skip.

I don't think there is any reason, though, to grab the first one. Definitely have enjoyed Legendary Heroes though. 90 hours logged. I've beaten it with every character. Latest play was with the Undead DLC. Not sure if that is simply a hard faction to win with, or if it ramps of the difficulty across the board. I'll have to try again one of these days with one of the other ones.

Fallen Enchantress now even includes the single player campaign from the first, as well as its own, if I'm not mistaken.

Campaign? I wasn't aware there was one.

Just booted it up. I see a Scenario option. Is that what you mean? There is a Fallen Enchantress one, and an Anthys one (that I'll need to try). But I think that the latter comes from the Map pack DLC.

Anthys - Play across the entire world of Elemental on this map that is over twice the size as the largest maps in Fallen Enchantress.

Yes, the scenario. And I'm reasonably sure there was the Anthys one for FE Legendary Heroes before adding DLC, although I have The Dead World and the map pack installed (not quest and loot). Later they patched in the Fallen Enchantress scenario so there really was no more reason to play the first release, as far as I can tell.
