I thought I was going to have another month at least before running this, so it's going to be a little graphics poor unless I really get on the ball during the sign ups.

I'll take the Sign Ups here and then start it's own game thread when we start. Shoot for a Friday start (probably Friday night)?

This is who I have so far:

Scoop, upon your request: "Don't play"

My own opinion: "Play". :D

I'm in.

I would sincerely ask everyone that is signing up to ask themselves if they will be available to actually play for about a month or so.

Playing with people that don't play, truly lessens the experience for all players.

For the first time in history, i'm OUT.

Because although my limited participation is still higher than some players, it is a marked difference from my own standards.

I think the only thing it violates is your sense of anality. You still read the thread and post when able you just can not spend hour after hour composing posts and pouring over pages of emailed notes. :P

Two-face can re-hunt the next night to get a better coin toss.

Not sure what the advantage would be, though. Anyone being affected by the coin toss is not part of his Victory Conditions and so is really a waste (from his point of view).

Is that Comm Gordon or Harvey that dies and is then reborn?

(guessing it's Comm Gordon)

edit: found where you said it clearly in the post... nm

also, the two specific points in your parentheses seem to imply that maybe the player is indeed still allowed to post, and isn't limited to :binky: for the remainder of the day/night while he's dead.

However, I think really, your point was for the dead player to play dead and it is not until the morning where he is allowed to step up and say, "That was just me protecting Harvey. "
yes?

Yes - when Gordon auto-protects, the text will read something like "A shot rings out and Player X is dead." Player X is out of the game like any other corpse until the next morning when he is reanimated.

But that brings up an interesting point. The Joker's crew will know who Gordon is as well as who Dent is (since their shot missed the mark). They could then just kill Dent that night as well. Have to think about this - perhaps Dent should go into protective custody for one night so he lives to see daylight? But that would give two Knowns the next morning. Hmmm...

We only seem to be able to get 10 people for this one. I'm working on cutting roles for that number, but would it make more sense to make this the first League game of simple WW?

i'd be fine to do that, and just do the league thing. Might as well give it a test, and then implement a time rule. Just offhand, I would say, that the day has to turn w/in 12-16 hours after the final vote. IE make sure you get your orders ready prior to the lynch. Of course it all depends on the mod in that respsect then.

Other idea, is to make the day portion last no more than 2-3 days.

I know Scoop has another game open for signups and tru1cy has one out there as well. If Scoop doesn't want to run two in a row and tru1cy is still busy, I could run this one next. It looks like we might be able to get the 13-14 players that would make this one possible.
