Anything that's going to radicalize and motivate more GOP-flavored terrorists into action isn't a good thing - even if it exists in a vacuum.

It also won't be a pure vacuum. It'll be the breeding ground to seed disinformation into FB, Twitter, and the major news media which will inevitably megaphone ideas that make it to actual politicians lips.

Yeah, less of an echo chamber, more of a breeding ground.

Interestingly enough trump's efforts against twitter and fb and the like may actually bite him in the ass if he does this. He loosened the rules regarding platforms being safe from being sued for whats on them so we could all band together and sue the bejesus out of him day 1 most likely. Thousands (more) suits may never win a case regarding it but it will certainly enrich his attorney's rather than him.

What a shame.
Before she joined the Trump administration as transportation secretary, Elaine Chao earned millions of dollars over the past decade by serving on the boards of big public companies such as Dole Foods, Protective Life and Wells Fargo, according to corporate filings.

She offered sterling credentials to businesses eager to keep current with the Republican leadership: A former banking executive, she became the first Asian American woman to serve in a Cabinet when President George W. Bush tapped her to serve as labor secretary. She has been a regular at conservative think tanks including the Heritage Foundation and the Hudson Institute. Her husband is Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.).

But now Chao is encountering a fraught reentry into the private sector.

Headhunters who have sought similarly prominent work for Chao have found little interest, according to two headhunters she’s consulted personally. The headhunters, speaking on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitive nature of the discussions, said top executives wary of backlash from associating with former Trump officials are boiling down Chao’s four-decade Washington résumé to its most recent entry: long-standing ally of Donald Trump, despite her resignation the day after the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol.

Just got this HR focused webinar invite in the mail!
Overview of the webinar -How to Avoid Hiring Victims, Liars, Bullies, and Saboteurs :
There are no groups of individuals who cause more trouble in a workplace than the bullies, the liars, the passive-aggressive people, and the saboteurs. Those four types of people will run ethical, hardworking, and talented people right out the door of an organization regardless of compensation, benefits, perks, and work-life balance. Because employees cannot experience a good work-life and employers cannot have a good workplace culture with these people.
IMHO, I should send it to the GOP!

Didn't read the article, but did it mention her age? Sure, she worked for a traitorous asshat for 4 years, but she's also probably around 70! Kinda important in the ol' job market (unless you are just doing consulting, which she could likely easily do)

Jobs actively seeking 70+ year olds are:
"President of the USA" apparently, and that role is currently filled.

She is looking for jobs as a member of Corporate boards. They love mummies with lots of money on those things. They tend to hand wave the absurd CEO compensation packages as long as they are getting their dole and the candidate is proper enough for them.

Her daddy gives her money. She was working for him when on the Secretary of Transportation job, after all. She doesn't need a board job. Boo-fucking-hoo. Piece of trash identified as trash, who would have imagined!

I don't think this is the reason it didn't work. His base wants him out there in the mix stirring up hell. A static blog doesn't do that. They'll keep experimenting to try to find the right forum. Beating at the walls like he always does. Social media networks keeping him boxed in has been helpful even if it only slows the decay.

Trump was reportedly angry that pundits were making fun of the blog's lame engagement numbers. Basically, no one was reading it.

He's returning to his true love--live rallies--basically right now. He's headlining the NC GOP state convention tonight.

Seriously? (linky no worky for me)

That's about as close to literal "Emperor Has no Clothes" in real life as you are going to get if true. Ha! Imagine the internal dialogue from (un)trusted aides when they saw that. "Oh HELL. You know he's going to fly into a rage if I say something! But I can't let him go out into public like that! Maybe he won't notice, and everybody else is too scared of him to say anything. But what if he DOES find out, then blames me for not catching it?! Wait. Maybe I can spin it. Tell him "I thought it was intentional, that you were starting a trend, so that your loyalists can be identified more easily in public. Kind of like wearing a badge or a certain hat."

The Party of the Twisted Pants.

Damn, indeed. I am very seriously disappointed. Not because I wanted it to shame or embarrass him (not sure that's even possible, given his little mental condition), but just one last straw to grasp to show the public that he is unhinged and/or a buffoon.

More like a warning sign than a Nelson "HA HA!" thing.
