The Bears piss me off so much with this.

Ugh. F-ing Dalton?

I suppose it should be no shock we didn’t have the $$ for Wilson.

Couldn't unload your garbage on the Lions for better pieces and draft capital without having an Patriot insider as a Lions GM, huh?

I think an offer of 3 first rounders, a third rounder, and two starters for Russell Wilson is more than enough capital to trade for him. The Seahawks clearly don't want to part with him.

I'm starting to come back to the NFL. How/why did Robert Aguayo end up on the Pats roster?? What the heck happened last year?

I really don't think overpaying for Wilson would be the answer, either.

What's needed is a QB with skills, an offensive system (and surrounding players) that complements those skills, and coaching that brings it all together. Wilson is good in the Seattle system, but he's not a Brady or Manning that can transform a team on his QB skills alone.

Of the mentioned possibilities, Deshaun Watson is the only one I see walking into Halas Hall and making a difference. Fucking Dalton is going to get Pace and Nagy fired, which means another 5 year rebuilding plan under a new administration.

Don't worry about it. Neither the Patriots nor the Red Sox played last year.

Have the Hawks significantly upgraded their O-line? If not, and I were Wilson, I'd just retire instead of risking my health.

How many draft picks did the Bills have to give up to get him? You can't just sign a QB like Trubisky without giving up draft picks.

Please - the Bills will sign him to an extension and trade him to the Bears for some first round picks.

Competent. I think I had him as a backup TE on FF. For a TE to warrant a FF roster spot, he must not suck (or be projected to suck). But the nature of the TE position is offense-specific. A fantastic blocking TE might work for a team, but not gain notoriety as a pass catcher.

I saw the alert about Trubisky signing with the Bu.... and the alert text cut off. I have never been so terrified to click on something, hoping fervently that the Bucs were getting crazy.

Hopefully he never sees the field, if he does, he’s physically more talented than Barkley, so like ok, I guess? Or maybe hopefully he plays two games, is amazing and signs a big money deal next season and we get a comp pick out of it.

That haul is amazing.

The Eagles then traded with Miami.

The 49ers are consulting with the Bears these days, I see. Who is the Mitchell Trubisky of this year's draft? The 49ers might need to cough up a few more picks to move up one place to get him.

I wonder how this impacts the Watson sweepstakes. I suppose the Dolphins could now trade Tua plus two first round picks + whatever else for Watson.

My hope is that the top teams in the draft all load up on marginal quarterbacks so there will be quality OL prospects still on the board for the Chargers at 13.

Jets trade Darnold for a sixth this year and a second and fourth next year in a deal with the Panthers.

As a side note, apparently Rodgers is pushing to become the permanent Jeopardy! host while also playing QB. Apparently Jeopardy! only films on ~ 48 days per year, so Rodgers says that he could do it during the offseason.

I haven't seen any of the interim host...who's been the best so far? Rodgers didn't seem comfortable in that snip they've been playing today.

Thus far the general consensus has been:

1. Mike Richards (The Jeopardy producer that had to fill in for two weeks)
2. Ken Jennings
3. Katie Couric
4. Dr. Oz (Personally, he was about on par with Couric, but so many vocal people hate him online that he ends up on the bottom.)

Rodgers hasn't done enough yet. Assuming he gets better with reps, he'll easily pass the last two.
