MODOK is one of my favorite characters ever created, for reasons I can't articulate. The idea that he's getting his own show is unreal to me, but I'm quite excited.

After a year of staying mostly at home, I have only to look in a mirror to understand why I feel a connection to MODOK.

Pretty good. Kinda Deadpool-ish.
Not quite to that level, but well worth a watch if you liked Deadpool and dont mind another Groundhog Day scenario.
Saw it this weekend - I agree. I hadn't thought of Deadpool, but you're right kinda/sort. I'd probably choose Palm Springs over this one in the Groundhog Day genre, but it's still worth watching. And Gronkowski is in it - which made me do a double take and was amusing.

Anyone watching the new season of Handmaid's? The start of this week's episode looked like it was straight out of The Walking Dead. I'm enjoying the peak at the outside world, but I wonder if they aren't biting off more than they can chew by expanding the scope so much.

The plot (and characters) sometimes drives me nuts, still they certainly know how to push my buttons - end of the last episode really blew me away, backed by a fantastic cover version of Fix You.

Same here... interested in watching, but not rushing because we don't want to wait for new episodes to release every week.

One must need to know the source material. There were some laughs in the first episode, but I'm not sure I'm coming back for the second.

It felt off to me. But I hated the first episode of Harley Quinn and that ended up being one of my favorite shows on DC Universe. I think my dislike of Robot Chicken plays into things a bit here as it feels like the same brand of humor. Hopefully I either adjust or it changes though.

It shares the same animation style as Robot Chicken but I think it’s written better. I’m reminded a bit of Archer. I’m not that familiar with the MODOK universe but that didn’t detract from my enjoyment.

I’m two episodes in and still not enjoying it. I love Patton Oswalt so this should be up my alley. Unfortunately it just doesn’t work for me. :(

Yeah, I can’t wait for that and Doom Patrol to return.

I’ll probably watch the rest of the first season of Modok as I do like the fan service it provides. Maybe it will click with me after a few more episodes. I really do want to support any attempts to make something offbeat with Marvel, so I’d hate to see it fail based on that alone.

I watched the first episode of M.O.D.O.K. and won't be back. I don't have any familiarity with the character, so that may be part of it, but overall I just didn't find it funny. I was aware of all the points where I was expected to laugh, but the "supervillain can't catch a break" humor just doesn't resonate with me.

The first three episodes of MODOK were OK. I'm not always a fan of Oswalt but the voice acting is really fantastic. The fourth episode seemed hilarious, but I was partaking of cannabis at the time so I may have been miscalibrated.

I saw a commercial on late night TV. It said, "Forget everything you know about slipcovers." So I did. And it was a load off my mind. Then the commercial tried to sell me slipcovers, and I didn't know what the hell they were. -- Mitch Hedberg

I did eventually find a few things funny with Modok. Episode 6 when they go to Asgard made me chuckle a few times. But overall, it's just too much like Robot Chicken. Sometimes Oswalt's funnier stuff shows through though.

I just started MODOK, and the time traveling plot line in the second episode to go see a Third Eye Blind concert hit me right in the humor center. I'm enjoying what I've seen so far, granted I'm just starting. It's ~22 minutes of funny.

Anything that has to do with The Wall on Solar Opposites is a win.

I complain that sometimes Justin seems to find cruelty for the sake of cruelty funny, but then he goes and creates entire worlds like he did with The Wall and they're fantastic.

Also, this scene had me in stitches.

In 2021 comes Hulu’s newest original series – starring Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez. The \comedy surrounds three strangers who share an obsession with true crime and suddenly find themselves wrapped up in one. When a murder occurs in their NYC apartment building, they are forced to work together to figure out what happened.
I finished the series this weekend. It was a fun who-dun-it, although they had Selena Gomez playing a little too indifferent for my tastes. I hope it gets a second season.
