This is an old intro for HBO . It played before a movie. Its basically the same one from 1981. The second video is the behind the scenes of how they made it.

I still remember sitting in my aunt and uncle's house next door and watching cable. My uncle worked and my aunt let me watch some tv while her stuff wasn't on. We didn't have cable. I was 12 years old and thought cable was magical

I couldn't believe you could watch theater movies on tv with no commercials and no censoring. Boobs! I clearly recall watching Excalibur (twice) and For Your Eyes Only. Im sure I watched other stuff but those I remember clearly. When this intro would play I knew it was going to be awesome. So excited back then. HBO was on channel 2. There were only 2-13. 13 was the weather channel. Cinemax or Showtime were not a thing in our area....that or you could only pick one and HBO ruled. Also cable cost $20 or $25. My mamaw thought it was crazy to pay for tv and way too high. I think I bugged my aunt so much that my uncle (her son) talked her into getting cable finally lol..

I basically learned that you can cut off moldy parts from hard food, like cheeses, but never porous things like bread.
