I added 2 more questions.

And the spelling must be a play on Col-BEAR. Though I still see it as Question-URT.

How tall are you? I'm 6'4", and being able to stick my legs a bit into the aisle is a godsend, especially on longer flights. Plus it allows me to stand up right away when we land. (Yes, I'm one of those people. Contrary to popular belief, it's not because I think it'll get me off the plane earlier - it's so I can stretch out my legs.)

What he said. Plus, people who travel for a living don't really care about the view- we've seen it all before.

The only time I dislike the aisle is during boarding when people hit you with their backpacks as they move past you because they forget their body doesn't end where it usually does.

Actually Colbert calls his 15 questions, but is not always consistent on what those 15 are. After the initial 13, I added 2 more of his that I found. He also asks: What number am I thinking of? That makes no sense in this context.

Well some of us still enjoy the majesty of human flight.

I'm shorter than you (5'9") but I'm fat. Plus, I don't like to inconvenience others by making them get up when I need to go to the bathroom, and [kidney stuff], I pee a lot.

I like being able to stand up right away and to not have two people between me and getting up but I find that stretching my leg into the aisle ends up being a hazard as well as my wingspan and I can jam my tall fat frame against a window to be less concerned about the being jammed into a tiny space and spilling my body into other people's tiny space or into the working area of people working or simply trying to get move about.

I haven't flown in probably five years now and I cramp and get painfully stiff much easier now. I have no idea how my body respond today. Better not to fly at all, I guess. :D

I've not yet read anyone else's replies...

1. What's the best sandwich?
BLT or a Pot Bellie's Wreck... or a Turkey Club.

2. What's the one thing you own you really should throw out?
A few very very old PCs, but 'throwing out' isn't really what I would even do with em... Otherwise, I don't hold on to too much garbage... I could say something like 'this old electric guitar I will never play', but I would rather keep it (or find it a very worthy home).

3. What's the scariest animal?
Visually speaking, the Angler Fish has really done a great job. If we are speaking 'what animal would I least want to be trapped in a room with, I would maybe go with a panther/cougar'...

4. Apples or oranges?
Oranges

5. Favorite smell?
fresh Apple Cider Donuts in the fall at a cider mill...

6. Least favorite smell?
Cigar smoke

7. Most used app on your phone?
iMessage (with Wunderground weather app being close 2nd)

8. Cats or Dogs
Dogs (I also very much like cats, but I love dogs)

9. Have you ever asked for an autograph? Who?
Nope - The two times I had an interesting opportunity to, I would have never felt right doing it.

10. You get one song to listen to for the rest of your life.
Hmmm, Welcome to the Machine ?
Seriously hard one...

11. What happens when you die?
You go back to what you were before you were born... just not existing. Hopefully, you have done enough positive things so as to be remembered fondly.

12. Describe the rest of your life in 5 words.
Just waiting for the weekend

13. Favorite action movie.
Starship Troopers

14. Window or aisle?
Aisle

I was wondering about that. Seems like it's no longer an official Colbert Questionert then.
Actually Colbert calls his 15 questions, but is not always consistent on what those 15 are. After the initial 13, I added 2 more of his that I found. He also asks: What number am I thinking of? That makes no sense in this context.
7?

Yeah, I pick the Aisle Seat because it's the seat of control... I don't want to bother others, more so than I am bothered by others. And standing up to stretch when the flight is over is another bonus.

I prefer the seat of peace, by the window. Being of moderate height and weight has advantages.

That question needs a lot more context...are we talking domestic hop? Long international flight? Short interntional flight? How's your next connection? Working? Vacation?! Traveling solo or alone? KIDS?!? What cabin? AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Let's just say I asked for his John Hancock, and leave it at that.

He signed my (mostly clothed) breast while a bunch of us were at a strip club and he was there hosting something. The circumstances are hazy, but I definitely did not request his John Hancock.

Window is fine in flights of less than 3 hours but anything longer and want the ability to get up and stretch during the flight without involving another person.

I will try, although I'm not a big believer in 'bests' or 'favorites'. They're way too dependent on my moods.

1. What's the best sandwich?
Either a French dip or a Reuben, depending on how they're made.

2. What's the one thing you own you really should throw out?
My credit card.

3. What's the scariest animal?
Humans. And hornets.

4. Apples or oranges?
Oranges.

5. Favorite smell?
Petrichor

6. Least favorite smell?
Rotting flesh

7. Most used app on your phone?
Audible. Given that I don't work, I don't use my phone as an alternate PC. I use it to check one quick thing, but don't spend a lot of 'quality time' with it. I listen to Audible when I'm driving to and from the school each day (about 45 min/trip.)

8. Cats or dogs?
Dogs. If I wanted to be used and considered expendable, I'd join the army. That, and I'm allergic to cats.

9. Have you ever asked for an autograph? Who?
Yep, but only at cons or of friends who have published something. The most recent were Margaret Weiss, Tracy Hickman, and Larry Elmore (all at GenCon.)

10. You get one song to listen to for the rest of your life.
I'm going to cheat: Vivaldi's The Four Seasons, presented as a single work. There are songs I like more, but this is good, it has tremendous variety, and is long enough (40+ minutes) that I could let parts of it go 'fallow' for a while if I got sick of them.

11. What happens when you die?
I cease to exist.

12. Describe the rest of your life in 5 words.
There can be only one.

13. Favorite action movie.
Uh... Aliens! No, Raiders! No, Conan! No, Hawk the Slayer! No...

14. Window or aisle?
Window. I'm 6'1", but it's rare enough for me to get to fly that I want to see that I'm flying. If I wanted to look at feet in an aisle, I'd take the bus.

3. What's the scariest animal? Blue-ringed octopus
4. Apples or oranges? Apples
5. Favorite smell? Pussy

7. Most used app on your phone? Facebook
8. Cats or dogs? Cats, but I have a dog.
