I like being able to stand up right away and to not have two people between me and getting up but I find that stretching my leg into the aisle ends up being a hazard as well as my wingspan and I can jam my tall fat frame against a window to be less concerned about the being jammed into a tiny space and spilling my body into other people's tiny space or into the working area of people working or simply trying to get move about.

I haven't flown in probably five years now and I cramp and get painfully stiff much easier now. I have no idea how my body respond today. Better not to fly at all, I guess.

Yeah, I pick the Aisle Seat because it's the seat of control... I don't want to bother others, more so than I am bothered by others. And standing up to stretch when the flight is over is another bonus.

I prefer the seat of peace, by the window. Being of moderate height and weight has advantages.

That question needs a lot more context...are we talking domestic hop? Long international flight? Short interntional flight? How's your next connection? Working? Vacation?! Traveling solo or alone? KIDS?!? What cabin? AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Window is fine in flights of less than 3 hours but anything longer and want the ability to get up and stretch during the flight without involving another person.

Yep, but only at cons or of friends who have published something. The most recent were Margaret Weiss, Tracy Hickman, and Larry Elmore (all at GenCon.)
