I solved Semantle #102 in 80 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 3.22. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #22. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 24.94 (43/1000).

I typed the word STEAR, to see if it was a word, and Wordle accepted it. I was READY to try another word that I thought was wrong and typed ALURE, it was also accepted. I felt I made a FARCE out of Wordle with such nonsensical words.
The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.
My trick is, it's almost always someone who's been in the Avengers movies.

I guessed the first movie but not the actor. And then a couple other movies that unlocked had enough of an overlapping cast where it took me 4 more tries.

Very hard to guess a word that you have 4 letters and where they go and none of the remaining letters make a word. Helps significantly when you realize you know the 5th letter as well.
I was trying out the Wordle tricks from this article. Definitely helped with the Quordle and Octordle. Not sure about Wordle, although today's word wasn't clicking either way.

Had 4 of 5 letters correctly placed on the last word but ran out of guesses.
