That would have to drive Jim Kelly a little bit crazy, right?
Not in the slightest, no. Kelly would be ecstatic for Buffalo finally having a championship.
I mean, obviously. But after it settles now a bit and his friends start needling him, it'll have to grind his gears at least a little bit, right?

I think the whole cancer thing might have given him a different view on life.

The Antonio Brown situation is definitely getting more interesting. Brown is claiming he had a pretty severe ankle injury that he couldn’t play on anymore. And that Arians knew about this injury, but was forcing him to play anyways. Arians claims he didn’t know, but AB posted screenshots of text messages between the two confirming he did. Says he also has receipts from multiple doctors saying he shouldn’t play on it, that Tampa Bay simply ignored.

While AB is a mess, it’s looking more and more like Arians and TB were in the wrong here.

NFL Players Association plans to investigate Antonio Brown's claims against Buccaneers
NFLPA spokesperson George Atallah told USA TODAY Sports on Thursday that because Brown has yet to contact the players' union, details remain scarce. However, NFLPA officials plan to follow standard operating procedure and investigate Brown's claims of medical mismanagement just as they would anytime a player makes such allegations.
...
Brown also said he learned that the Buccaneers had injected him with a “powerful and sometimes dangerous painkiller that the NFLPA has warned against using.”
...
He also said an MRI on his ankle on Monday revealed broken bone fragments stuck in his ankle and that he will be having surgery.

I would argue that there’s a difference between jogging around in the end zone and being able to cut and accelerate past NFL-level defenders.

I have no real dog in this fight, as I don’t really like either Brown or Arians. I don’t particularly care what happens to either of them going forward. I just find the two sides of the story kinda interesting.

That's what I saw. I'm not saying what I saw was the whole picture but the 10 seconds of him removing his jersey and leaving the field was not 10 seconds of somebody with ankle pain. Maybe ankle pain is different than ankle damage. I don't know what's what in pro sports.

As someone with a current ankle injury, I can verify that it is possible to have a difference in pain between standing, walking, or even turning a corner and it not making any sense.

Spoiler:
Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter · 9m Replying to @AdamSchefter
Antonio Brown did not tell anyone on the Bucs’ medical staff about his ankle bothering him on gameday before the game against the Jets or during it, per Bucs’ GM Jason Licht.

Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter · 7m
Bucs made two doctors’ appointments in New York for Antonio Brown so they could place him on IR and pay him for the remainder of the year, and he missed both appointments, per Licht.

AB said as much, but with a different spin.
Brown claimed Wednesday that despite cutting ties with him, the Bucs are attempting to dictate his medical care, even though he has already scheduled surgery.

"You can see the bone bulging from the outside. But that must and can be repaired," he said. "The MRI has been read by two top orthopedic surgeons in NYC, including Dr. Martin O'Malley at Hospital for Special Surgery. Not realizing that I had already scheduled a surgery at HSS, the Bucs 'ordered' me under penalty of discipline and with a few hours' notice to show up to a more junior doctor at HSS for another opinion."

The final day of the regular season is upon us. If the Jags somehow upset the Colts it sets up a bizarre scenario where if the Chargers at Raiders game ends in a tie they would BOTH make the playoffs. Otherwise it's win and you're in. But Colts at Jags is an early game, so all the fun and games in the AFC should be over early.

NFC is down to two teams. If the 49ers beat the Rams they are in. If they lose they would need the Falcons to beat the Saints to stay in. Both are late games and could make for some nervous scoreboard watching.

Patriots still have a shot at winning the division, but need to win (vs. MIA) and have the Jets upset the Bills. Not especially likely - they will probably beat the Dolphins, but, you know...the Jets.

Nice win by the 49ers. Rams still win the west based on the Cardinals loss, but fall to the 4th seed.
