FWIW, the original tweet was by a woman. And the careful wording of "intellectual" leads me to believe she was not in any way implying she wanted to date Jen. I think it's more akin to the man crush I have on Jake Tapper.

It's for firefighters the way the blue-line flag is for cops. Apparently all first responders are nationalistically right-wing patriotic rather than simply brave and decent.

There may have been a brief period when the "Blue Lives Matter" flag and slogan meant something apolitical, but it didn't last.

Now it basically means "Black Lives Don't."
