The real question is "When will I be able to see / access the annual winter sale?"

Not really motivated by any of those prices... the one that got my attention is 35% off Lords of the Fallen but I've kind of decided I wasn't interested in that one. Of course the fact that I buy anything I am interested in largely on day 1 makes these sales of less interest to me in general.

Steam holiday sales are great if you have gift cards or credit with the store. Or you like the idea of being able to return something with minimal hassle for a full refund.

For years now, all of their competitors (GreenMan, Fanatical, Humble, etc...) seem to have much better pricing on most of the same games. It definitely pays to do your homework.

I currently use Augmented Steam in my browser and go there first if I'm looking to buy something from Steam so I know if there is a liwer price on it.
Unfortunately I think the Steam sale broke it cause it's not working. I think it links bavk to your istheteanydeal account and I cant sign in on that site. Getting bad gateway and 404 and oopps errors right now.
Will keep trying though.

Augmented Steam is also run by Is There Any Deal. Big Steam sales often throw it into chaos for a few hours, whether it's the rush of people checking their lists or them suddenly having to update 50,000 listings at once. Plus, it usually takes Steam's own prices an hour or two to properly register, and as soon as they do, their competitors (Fanatical, GMG, Humble, etc) often jump up and undercut them, and then each other.

It's usually a bad idea to buy games on the first day of the Steam sale. Let them sort out their pricing, let the competition have their bidding wars, then swoop in later via Augmented Steam or ITAD and find the best prices that result.

What's great is that half the Steam games on sale that I want are also available at the same sale price on Epic. Buying them on Epic means an additional 33% off with the same easy return policy.

No doubt. The only real advantage to Steam is the Workshop. For most games that support it, it's the only place to find the content, and Steam has made it impossible to access if you don't own the game on Steam.

WHAT QUALIFIES AS AN ELIGIBLE PRODUCT FOR THE EPIC COUPON?

Taxes and other fees do not apply toward the minimum purchase requirement. I see Space Haven is on sale for 50% off. I've had this on my wishlist forever, maybe now it is time to pull the trigger since it is quite likely to never, ever hit full release . Anyone have experience with this game?
