I think Fallout in a Morrowind-style engine would kick some serious gaming ass.

Who am I kidding. Any Fallout game would kick ass.

Yes any Fallout game would kick ass at this time.

But think about it. A Fallout done in the style of Morrowind, with a free style camera, played from any view, moving through a post apocalptic landscape, with nuclear weather patterns, mutant beasts, the remains of cities, towns and landscapes punctuated with the familiar, the nostalgic, and the dangerous. The neverending search for a safeplace.

Ahhh, makes one want to cry............we can hardly wait

No way. I don't think there's been enough party based RPG's lately. I'd hate to see Fallout go the Morrowind route too.

He said Morrowind style engine. That doesn't preclude a party based RPG at all.

I think fan-made mods made in a Fallout-style "Morrowind" game would be extremely interesting and creative. More so than the already good ones made for Morrowind.

They are! Brian Fargo, ex Interplay founder/owner, has the rights to Wasteland. I think it's his next project after The Bard's Tale.
