I want to kill my monitor

I just can not get the geometry on my monitor right. No matter what I do something is crooked and it's driving me batty. Are there any tricks of the trade that I'm missing here?

It's a Sony CPD-E440, if that helps any.

Have you tried different refresh rates? I haven't had any 'bending' or ackward geometry with newer monitors (3-4 years old), but I did have some DELL POS monitor that didn't seem to like anything but 72Hz.

I love you.

It never even dawned on me that refresh rate would effect geometry. It's still just a little crooked, but it's soooooo much better.

Damn first night and we've solved a problem in the Computing forum already. We are on a roll baby

Yeah, that Dell PoS I had never looked perfect either, but I'm glad it worked out for you.
