Not the best picture of the one on the left but I don't see the ugliness of the Asian girl on the right. I can see unattractiveness in that pic (though I know the truth is otherwise) but not ugliness.

It's a lousy picture of Tricia Helfer (on the left). Grace Park looks fine.

They've both done Maxim spreads if you like airbrushes. But here's some better in-character shots.

The asian chick is a bit too strong and macho looking with plain face. I prefer a more cute and feminine looking asian girls.

I don't think I'd call any of them "nasty" or "ugly". But I don't think I'd call any of them "hot" either.

And it's not the best issue ever, but it's a good, solid addition, especially if you're a fan of the show.

The bonus desktop art is really nice, though.

You guys really need an adjective that's in between "ugly" and "hot". I wouldn't kick these chicks out of bed. Well.. maybe the tall blonde depending on the lighting conditions.

Seriously.. if these chicks are ugly what adjective do you reserve for this? Threads like this make me think you guys are all sleeping with super-models. And I know that's not true.

HT, you should make a 16x12 of the original octo logo you had, the non-cylon one.

I'm with Bob. Grace Park is a very cute-looking girl, and if I had the chance, I'd bang her till my brains fried.

I'm not much into the blonde, but calling her ugly is insane. As for Starbuck, I hardly recognize her on this pic. Her face looks all different from in the show. I like her in the show.

Starbuck is most definitely *not* hot. I just watched the original mini-series this weekend on DVD, and that was the one thing that struck me about her character - not at all attractive.

Starbuck isn't quite my type, but none of the three are unattractive by any means. However, to each their own.

Any chance of getting the desktop art avatar-sized? I've been working with Photoshop on it, and I can only get it down to 17k.

I have a tendency, as do most of you apparantly, to judge a celebrity's looks against other celebrities. I can say "Starbuck isn't hot" because I'm comparing her to celebrity hotness such as Nicole Kidman. But in reality if Starbuck was a coworker I would be doing all I could to have honey BBQ sex with her. These girls are all on the right side of the hotness curve. You just have to let yourself see it.

For the record, I've seen the girl on the left in interviews where she didn't have that platinum blonde dyejob and she was most definitely hot. Damn she was hot.

Have you used the 'Save For Web' option? Shrinking it to 80x60 and then doing that gets me a file that is ~7KB.

Tricia Helfer is not my type, but there's no denying her incredible hotness. I think Moore even mentioned in one of his interviews that filming with Helfer can be hard because every male on the set has his jaw hit the floor when she comes out dressed for a Giaus dream sequence.

Grace Park is supremely cute. You should see her in action. She's awesome. I defy anyone to run around with Boomer for a week and not try to impregnate her.

That leaves Katee Sackhoff. Again, not my type, and frankly, the least hot of the three. (not that she's bad or anything) Starbuck's appeal lies in her attitude, which some guys will find irresistible and others not so much.

But to say that any of these girls are ugly is just silly.
