Let's see who waited in line the longest. Here's mine:

I waited in line for 0 minutes. I walked in, got my ballot, voted, and made my egress, all in less than 5 minutes.

Well he's slowly drifting out of range

Our voting place had two lines set up, those with last names starting with "A-K" and last names starting with "L-Z". Oddly, while the "A-K" line was about 50 people deep, the "L-Z" line had one person in it. Lucky me. I only ended up waiting a minute or two to get signed in and get my ballot. I spent more time actually voting than waiting in line.

Then, on the way out, free orange juice and Krispy Kremes. Bonus!

2 minutes waiting for the ballot, 10 minutes voting. Glad I could get it done in the morning, because it's going to suck tonight after work.

It took two hours!

A friend of mine actually had "observers" from both parties hovering over her when she got to the registration table in her district. I wish I had them in my district so I could have told them to get the fuck out of my face. :x

I got there at 6:10. It took an hour and 15 minutes to get in and out. And it's only getting worse from what I've read here locally.

Just wanted to say, great avatar GA :D.

I'm going to vote around noon, hopefully the lines won't be too long since it's drizzling here.

I got there at 6:50 and left at 8:00. It was ok because I had my mixed CD of protest music. Good times.

No wait for me.

Sometimes living in a small town doesn't suck.

I've never actually been in a voting booth. All we have are scan trons with #2 pencils on some tables.

I hardly ever know who the state judges are, so I choose the one with the coolest sounding name.

In line at 7:30am, around 10 minutes. Voting, around 8 minutes (like 30 yes/no judge retention votes and those are the most important to me and they're the hardest to fucking read/select).

So total, around 18 minutes. Oh, and 15 seconds for walking across the street to get there. 8) Sheesh, what hoops I have to jump through to vote.

10 minutes. Nevada had a big push for early voting this year which was a big factor, I'm sure.

I thought about it but figured I'd instead use the avatar to promote my latest purchase or music I'm digging at the moment. Rest assured, GP will have his day.

About an hour and ten minutes. My polling place is about a block from the busiest freeway in L.A. and it seems everyone figured on stopping in before they headed in to work.

Two observations:

1) There's a lot of Asian people in my neighborhood, and
2) I'm taller than most of them.

Mid-Missouri. No wait, filled out ballot and left in all of 5 minutes. 20 minute drive from work then the 20 minute drive back took the majority of my time

1 hour 50 minutes from getting in line to casting my vote. When I left at 9:00 am, the line still looked to be an hour long.

About an hour. The lines didn't seem very long but also didn't move very fast. Fortunately, I had good company for the wait. Also, I enjoyed being the garrulous freak in line who asks stupid questions like, "Why is there no security? What if I freaked out and started beating up people who weren't voting my way? Who's going to take me down- the 6 ancient senior citizens in charge here? Because I could totally take them."

Neal is a good person for putting up with me.

Took me about an hour, too, but it went by pretty quickly. There was a crazy lady in line behind me spewing all these "what if" scenarios. My favorite was when she said something like, "Who'd stop me if I started beating up folks who weren't voting my way?" There were like 100 people in line around us, I'm pretty sure, lady, that *someone* could have kept you from beating up fellow voters.

Took me about 20 mins to vote... at Towson High School here in Baltimore. Turned out the High School is just around the corner where I live.

Drove there. Got my electronic voter card. Was in line for 10 minutes. Voted on one of the new electronic ballot machines. Turned in the voter card. Got a sticker that says 'I Voted'. And I was out of there. :)
