I'd like to see some previews before I commit. If they carry over the mechanics of the original game that's great. I like the idea of 3D including multistory buildings. Adding some new features like they mention on the product page is good too. What I don't want is for the devs to "dumb down" the gameplay to broaden the appeal.

I sure do like the graphics :D

Thanks to Hrothgar for letting me know that I had misspelled "Architect" in the topic subject. It would play havoc with folks searching for it later on. When I started this thread I didn't do what I usually do, which is to copy the subject/topic title into the body so I can spell check it .

I appreciate anyone taking the time to point out misspellings to me, it benefits the forum. However, when it comes to my taste in games... :D

After careful consideration, we have made the decision to delay the release of Prison Architect 2 to 7 May 2024. While we are already confident in the game, this extra time will enable us to fix more bugs and further optimize the game for all platforms. Although sticking to the original launch date was an option, we feel that taking this additional time is necessary to ensure that we offer you a smoother experience from day one.

Are my inmates arch-enemies in Prison Architect 2??? - Personality & Relationships - Feature Highlight 6
⚠️ Please note: The visuals and gameplay footage showcased in this video are from earlier development phases and may not accurately reflect the final game. Anticipate improvements in quality upon release.

There is the usual article accompanying the above video which is worth reading. And in the article I saw this, which is pretty cool compared to the first game:
The addition of bunk beds and shared cells also means that players can group friends together, or use the Cell Transfer feature to separate others not getting along.

Live Stream (recorded) (starts at 4:20 :ninja: )

I couldn't watch it. Mostly because of the hosts.

They are no Chris Delay & Mark Morris.
