Me. Although I did kind of enjoy that darker take they did a few years ago where they’re stuck on an alien ship.

But the game looks good. :D

From the video, it reminded me of Evil Genius game.

Was it inspired by the Evil Genius game? Or people who make this also worked on Evil Genius or the sequel of that game?

It struck me as an SG-1 inspired Evil Genius clone, too (which, 8n turn, took its cues from Dungeon Keeper.)

There is an isometric SG-1 game (licensed) on the way as well.

Stargate Universe. The poor knock off of BSG.

Stargate Atlantis I enjoyed most of the time, although it was pretty inconsistent. Universe tried to take an established franchise in a completely different direction (which alienated fans) while simultaneously being a blatant, weaker knock-off of BSG (and given that BSG was in its weaker seasons by then...) SG-1 was almost always fun, though. Less so after they got rid of the more interesting enemy and replaced them with yet another 'religious fanatic group' enemy (one of my least favorite villain tropes.)
